John & Son’s Barber Shop is a great place to get a haircut. Located in Halifax on Route 106 (Actually in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms gas station on the 106 & 58 corner). Run by the father and his two sons, it get busy no matter what time of the day. (Be sure to grab a number when you enter!) I also like the décor which is all sports memorabilia. They have a TV in the corner and magazine to help with the wait till your haircut. There is also a little play area for your kids. Both my son & daughter have had haircuts there and very pleased with the service. Everyone is friendly and even when its busy it worth the wait. I’ve yet to get my haircut there but every time I’ve been there for my kids its been a great experience. They don’t accept credit cards but they do have an ATM in the shop. Haircuts are cheaper during the week. I can’t wait till I need a haircut! So if your looking for a haircut in the Halifax area, come on in and have a great haircut!
