twice as nice is a diamond in the rough. i’ve lived in hmb for about 8 years and often stop by twice as nice just to see what new goods they have in. be prepared to spend a little time digging but you will be happy you stopped in. overstock and/or returned items from costco, kohls, etc… at HALF price or less! And they carry name brands like levis, guess, calvin klein, etc. love love love this place!

This was the first Twice as Nice I entered in the little shopping center that appeared to have at least four Twice as Nice stores. I was expecting an antique store or something, but instead, it was mostly stuff you would find in a bargain store. This store was horribly messy in there. I saw a lot of junk electronics and again, stuff you would find at a 99 cents store, but it wasn’t 99 cents. They did have a large selection of tools, but most of it looked old and cheap. This store had an unsavory feel to it… wouldn’t go back again. On the plus side, they did have a craft section with beads for jewelry making.

This place is great for buying generic, discount-store quality tools. It’s often cheaper than its neighbor Ocean Store Hardware. But watch out for the prices. Sometimes you end up paying the same amount as you would for a better quality brand-name tool. Sometimes it’s much more. I almost bought a tool for $ 18 that ended up costing $ 9 at Ocean Shore. Same with a $ 4 dollar broom that should have gone for $ 2.
