Disappointing. Pricey. First time or two was pretty good, then downhill from there. There was a no-​show. One day I had to be home for part of their time and I saw how things were actually done … Or not done. I just never felt the level of cleaning was worth the cost.

Mary Grace and her cleaners provide a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-​oriented service. I had experience using a housecleaning service on the coast once before, and the results were average to below. This time, we really needed help– earlier this year I had just returned home from the hospital to recover from a medical procedure. Mary Grace and her two cleaners were there for me. The cleaning itself is excellent. They do a great job cleaning and removing hard water marks from our glass shower enclosure for one example– much better than the service we used a few years ago. Her workers are friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. I find the price for the service to be fair, and am happily continuing to use them now that I am recovered.

I always had doubts with businesses that get all 5-​star review and this one is no exception. I have used Sicilian Homemaker before and they are not out of the world as the reviews suggested. They charge a lot more than rest of the cleaning services in the area. I would rather recommend Maxi Maids. they are just great! However, they do not serve Half Moon Bay
The worst part about this company is that the owner never visits a house before deciding a price. She will ask u how many bedrooms/​bathrooms on the phone and come up with a price… They are overpriced! Stay away!

Mary Grace’s hardworking staff cleaned the house after my mother had moved out. It was a three-​story house and mom has health issues, so the place hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The team dove in and in three and a half hours, the place was spotless. Sweet people, great communication. Reasonably priced for all the work that needed to be done. I couldn’t have been happier.

The Sicilian Homemaker has been cleaning my house since 1996. Mary Grace and her staff were recommended by the former owners of our house. They did a major «move out» cleaning in the house we were leaving, and since then come every two weeks for regular cleaning. The service has been reliable and consistent throughout the years. It’s wonderful to come home on my cleaning day and find a clean, fresh smelling house and the «extra touches» that demonstrate the caring attitude of the staff. Mary Grace and her staff are delightful and easy to communicate with. She keeps her rates reasonable and is always willing to accommodate me if I need to change my regular cleaning day or time. I heartily recommend The Sicilian Housekeeper.

Mary’s team has been cleaning my house twice a month for a long time, since some time in the 90s. They do an excellent job. I particularly hate cleaning bathrooms and they make my bathrooms really shine. I feel very secure having them in my house since I am not usually there when they do the cleaning.

The Sicilian Homemaker team has been cleaning my house every other week since August 2000. They dust, sweep, vacuum, make the beds, and wipe and clean everything in the bathrooms and kitchen. It is SO nice to have the entire house clean! The girls are friendly, always greet my two dogs, and always say «goodbye» when they leave. Rates are very reasonable. Very low staff turnover – I have had the same girls cleaning my house for years.

I don’t know how long I’ve used Mary Grace… more than 10 years, maybe 20! I was first attracted to her business name, the Sicilian Homemaker, because, well, I’m Sicilian, so… Mary Grace is flexible on dates and times, and on more than one occasion did an emergency clean for me for guests or parties. The cleaning is thorough with little unexpected touches each time. I recommend Mary Grace for reasonable, thorough house cleaning, including beautifully made beds.
