This is a must stop shop! We were for sure looking for the food truck experience and we found it. Now my family has a ranch on the mainland so this was extra special for me! I had the garlic shrimp… my heart stopped at first bite! Big shrimp soaked in a garlic butter sauce with salad, rice, and pasta! I mean it was awesome! My whole family fell in love! Be sure to stop and have cash. I don’t think they take cared but I wish they would. I will be trying their pineapple rice next time too!

Island Bree’Z is a one man show. We were hesitant to come at first because we want to try Giovanni’s but what the heck, we’re on vacation, why not?! Boy I’m glad we did. We got the coconut shrimp, lobster taco & lobster combo. Total was almost $ 60& worth every bite. The coconut shrimp have real shredded coconut & fried to perfection. The lobster combo comes with a tail, garlic shrimp & sides. The rice is seasoned & cooked very nicely. The lobster taco was good but for the price, I don’t think it was worth it. I’d say add $ 4& get the combo or the triple combo(we’re back again today & writing this review as we’re waiting for our food; its that finger licking good!) We jst came back from Giovanni’s & are very disappointed so had to come back to IB to make our drive to north shore worthy. Overall, be aware of the wait, but understand that it’s only one guy running this thing & everything is cooked to order. You won’t be disappointed!

Yes. Yes. And yes. Marcus is legit. Lobster tacos. Perfection. Garlic butter shrimp. Don’t even bother going anywhere else. I could eat a pan of rice by myself just with the sauce he uses on the shrimp. Takes his time because it’s made with aloha and worth every minute of the wait.

This place is delicious. I ordered the lobster tacos and my husband ordered the coconut lime shrimp plate. The plate is filled with large deveined shrimp soaked in lime sauce companied with a cranberry salad with fried sweet potato on top and a scoop of rice. The lobster tacos comes with corn and rice. This truck is unique due to its presentation which the other food trucks lack. The price is well worth the amount of food given and the owner was friendly. Definitely check them out, they are better than Giovanni’s. If you are not a fan of heavy sauce just ask for light saucing, regardless of your preference this truck will become your favorite.

Garlic shrimp is wayyy better than Giovanni’s! I used to be a huge fan of Giovanni’s and it was a MUST every time I came to the island, but Island Bree’z just blew Giovanni’s out of the water. On this trip we tried both Giovanni’s and Island Bree’z. @Giovanni’s — I was a bit disappointed. The shrimp was over cooked like they cooked huge batches of shrimp at once. As soon as we paid they called our order. @islandBree’z — it took some time for the food to be cooked, but so worth it. I’d rather have my food cooked to order anyway. The sauce was so addicting and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. This is my new MUSTGOTO spot for garlic shrimp.

I underestimated this food truck. Shame on me! I was super hungry, and my husband pulls over and says«I always have lunch over here. You’ll love it», and I’m already moody and grumpy from not eating that I already had a negative preconception of a place I’ve never tried before. Well, like I said — shame on me! This place has AMAZING flavors. I TASTE the love in the food! Sooo flavorful. I had the basic garlic shrimp. Dont be fooled like me. It’s not basic at all. Not like giovannis. Not like Teds bakery shrimp. Not like big wave shrimp either. There’s flavor in EVERYBITE. The shrimp is COVERED in sauce. It wasn’t overkill for me either. His flavors blend well! Two scoops of rice, about 6 – 8 pieces of large shrimps, spinach salad with tasty toppings, and a slice of lihing mui pineapple to digest it all! My husband has had his pineapple fried rice. Sounds strange right? To me it did. But he said it was surprisingly really good. Really flavorful again. I will definitely be back to this food truck. Make your way there. It’s conveniently on the ranch across turtle beach(Laniakea Beach). Comparable in price to other food trucks, but I can bet that it doesn’t compare in flavor. Try this unique place! The previous reviews say it all!

I think the price justifies the quality and portion of the food. I remember watching the man inside the food-truck with awe because he used every one of his movements purposefully. When I was talking to his wife, it turns out he’s actually trained in French cuisine but got tired of the restaurant vibe. Do yourself a favor and watch him cook. You can tell he cooks from the heart. The food I had was the coconut shrimp and Cajun fries. The batter was crispy but it wasn’t more batter than shrimp like I’m used here in Texas. I saw him pour cream in the batter so maybe that’s why it was so decadent. The fries must be russet because they’re super fluffy and crispy but they’re not sprinkled with too much season but the right amount of it. Oh, I almost forgot — the rice that the shrimp sits on soaks up the spicy sauce very well but without overpowering the taste of the rice itself. Which reminds me of the awesome salad too. I don’t know what kind of greens it was but it had toasted coconut and dried cranberries that worked very well with the slightly bitter greens. And that tiny little slice of pineapple was the right amount of sweet for all of the greens to come together in something that was very fresh. After kind of a weird day, the food felt homely but still very decadent and … well, fancy, in the best way but in this really calm, roadside place. Oh… and I had this food on 10÷30÷15… so if I came out of my way to write this months after, you know that’s how much I liked it but… you know, it’s just an opinion.

Absolutely amazing. It takes a while, but that’s because they take their time making the food delicious! We inhaled it all in 2.9 seconds!

.zing! I ordered the lobster tail/shrimp combo and my husband had the seafood/steak trio. Both were phenomenal. The cream sauce that is on the shrimp and rice is to die for. The owner/chef said that he knew what he was doing when it comes to culinary arts and he sure was right. Go to this food truck! You will not be disappointed!

We ordered lobster tacos and garlic shrimp. They were not skimpy on the flavors: bold hot sauce on the lobster tacos, balanced seasoning on the Cajun Shrimp. Fresh, no fishy seafood. A highlight of of our trip!

Awesome place. Lots of places to sit, clean restrooms, and gourmet food. We were kind of skeptical that gourmet food would be in a to go box. But we were proven very wrong, and everything turned out great. Perfect end to our visit on the north shore.

Came upon this delightful food truck on accident. I’m so glad I found it, though! Super delicious, fresh, and altogether great. The horses are great lunch dates, as well. I ordered the garlic shrimp & steak– came with salad, garlic bread, rice, and yummy orange sauce. He made it spicy for me, too. Highly recommend. I’ll def be returning. Thanks again, Marcus!

Seriously people because he has not a lot of reviews don’t pass up this opportunity to try the delicious great shrimp truck on the north shore, you might pass it up driving to Shark Cove, or Turtle Bay cause it’s tucked in a small didst if the road behind a white fence but is worth to try and look out for! We had the shrimp plate and the pork chops first of all everyone looking for that perfect shrimp truck well here it is the shrimps were cooked to perfection, the sauce he uses was off the chain sooooooo good perfect combo with the rice and shrimp, good portion but needs more rice! That’s because I’m a big eater of rice! And the pork chop was delicious as well especially the gravy that her puts on top! He’s been doing this truck biz for over 16 yrs had truck in waikiki so give him chance I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

First of all this truck is hard to see but once we found it we tried the shrimp plate and the pork chop plate. Let me tell you about the shrimp plate, the shrimp was cooked perfect, his cream sauce was off the hook. If your looking for a great shrimp truck in North shore this is the place to go. Now about the pork chop, it was a big, sized portion, the gravy was very tasty. Price was reasonable too. the only complaint i have would be need more rice but other than that would definitely recommend and come back if in the area

Hands down the best food from a food truck I’ve ever had! I love the way each ingredient works well with the other and all of the delicious flavors come together to form an amazing tasty experience. Everything on the plate is cooked and created to perfection, from the fresh mixed greens salad with kale to the slice of pineapple topped with li hing mui for that refreshing bite and don’t forget about the food! The shrimp is cooked just right and are a lot bigger than the other ones we tried. The steak was so tender and juicy and the grilled onions just take it to a whole other level. In addition to the awesome food, the location is absolutely breathtaking. It’s on a ranch up in the North Shore called Kawailoa Ranch and it has some of the most beautiful views and scenery on the island. It seriously is a gem and the perfect setting to a perfect meal.

I was just driving along the North Shore and traffic backup near the Island Bree’z. I pulled in and order the Garlic Shrimp.“Spicy”. The chef did his thing! I ate everything. It was delicious with plenty of «large» shrimp. If you are driving by, give it a try… I posted picture of my Spicy Garlic Shrimp.
