Glen was referred to us by a friend. Got a few other quotes and their pricing was exactly what we were willing to pay for 6″ for our over 2000 sq ft 2 story home. They were able to install as soon as they could especially with all of the calls since this was during our rainy season back in September with all the storms. A+ quality work! Super impressed how they color matched as well!

Alaka’i Raingutters doesn’t have many reviews here on Unilocal yet but then again neither do the other gutter businesses so I decided to give them a call. Glen answered my call and came over to look at the house a few day later as scheduled. The business is located all the way out in Haleiwa and my home is in Hawaii Kai. They service the entire island so don’t make their business address stop you from getting a quote.
Glen went over all the areas I wanted white aluminum gutters and made other suggestions that made sense to me. I requested he put a larger commercial grade gutter in the courtyard area and he said it wasn’t a problem. They look similar to the regular gutters but is an inch wider. He sent me a quote within a couple of days. I also got three other quotes and Alaka’i was the lowest. My general contractor said he could get a friend of his to give me a quote but when I told him what Alaka’i bid, he didn’t bother.
Glen and his crew came over in the morning of the scheduled install date and finished the entire house and carport in half a day. The gutters look great and even one of my other contractors commented on how good they look. I wasn’t around for the install but my wife and mother-​in-​law were there and they said Glen was very friendly and professional. My in-​laws are thinking of replacing their gutters too and will be calling Glen if they do.

after recently repainting our home we decided to replace the old outdated raingutters, Alaka’i did an excellent job installing and matching the color to our trim, with all the colors out there it’s amazing how they could match the color to our trim well, we are very pleased with the results and we will surely recommend them to friends & family !
