Dantes Pizza & Resturant

I have never written anything on Unilocal before but it’s horrible! As I waited for my lunch I saw a big roach crawling on the counter. I was mortified and then as I looked over to the other side there was one also In the cheese dispenser. I ran out of there super fast. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am so disgusted.

The business went down. I order pizza a few days ago from Dante. I gave him my address and phone number. He called me to tell me the pizza was ready so I went outside to meet him. He wasn’t outside. I called back and he start yelling for no reason smh and said I never called for delivery. Um yes you did. You ask for my address you idiot! Sorry but you lost a customer. The pizza took 1 hour to make and you couldn’t even bring the pizza. Dante only cares about money. He is not a nice guy at all. He never tell you the full price (including taxes) on a food selection but when you give him the exact money, he get all piss and accused you of ripping him off. Ok Mr. Wiseguy, tell customers the price of the pizza including the tax price.

some of the worst pizza in the area next to the ludicrously cheap Haledon pizzeria. First off i went during a tuesday so the special said 7.95 large pie, and me thinking adding pepperoni would only bring it to about 10 tops i ordered it. went to pay for it and was told the price was only for a chz pie so i payed 12 plus tax. shady but i can live with it. went home and discovered they put roni on only half of it. ok now im mad. pie itself was undersauced and the dough had a peculiar taste as if frozen. go to any place on hamburg turnpike instead they r all better than this dump.

This is a family run pizza shop. It isn’t fancy but their thin slices are SECOND TO NONE in this area. English isn’t their first language (which is something I think is being interpreted as rudeness by some other reviews), but everyone who works here seems to really care about the customers. I’ve experienced nothing but excellent service, extremely friendly people, who throw in a FREE 2 liter bottle of the soda of my choice with my order. One time my order was running about 10 minutes behind and they gave me a whole pie for FREE.
What else are you looking for? This is a great place.

How dare I ask for a Sicilian slice of pizza in an actual pizzeria! I’m so sorry I insulted you Mr. Dante. What was I thinking?

Well the pizza is awful but Dante’s gets 1 extra star from me for having huge sandwiches for $ 5. It takes them like 15 mins to put together a sandwich though. The only way that’s acceptable is if they’re slicing the cold cuts back there… and highly doubt that.
