Specialties
Rural escapes to the Catskill Mountains. Overnight guests stay in a charming B&B nestled next to a waterfall at the end of Lake Wawaka.
When you wake up the next morning feeling refreshed you will enjoy one of Susan’s gourmet breakfasts. Coffee by the stone fireplace or overlooking the lake?
This is just a few hours north of New York City but it seems to be a place set back in time. Off the main road with less than 30 homes in the downtown area. The architecture of the village homes creates the illusion of time warp so close to Manhattan. Slow down, sleep next to a waterfall.
Come back and be a weekend neighbor, many have.
We also rent and sell kayaks and canoes. This is a more seasonal business. We would be happy to have you paddle our mile of river and enjoy the bird life. Osprey, eagles, great blue herron, kingfishers, common mergansers, owls, red tail hawks, wood ducks, cedar wax wings and more. The Catskill Mountains offers such a great rural escape. Enjoy!
