Went in for replacement of water pump. Told Donald I did not need or want a $ 99 coolant flush. Told him it started leaking today and that we would drop off the suburban that afternoon. No diluted coolant and we are 7 miles away. I was very clear and told him I wanted the cheapest possible fix and I did not want the coolant flush he answered with a «Oh». So the price quoted $ 350 was for the part and two hours labor. Told him I needed a total with tax and never got a call. I was out of town so my wife had to deal with it.
She shows up and he’s all proud of himself about a $ 25 discount and did the flush anyway. Really shady that he did it anyway. If he denies this I want his ass to lie to my face. Very unhappy that this stuff goes on and will never go there again. I will also tell others about the way they do business. Dirty and sneaky. F you Donald for taking advantage. And thanks for the $ 25 discount on something I told you I didn’t want. You know who I am and if you want to talk call me.

Tried this place and was not disappointed. I was the first one there when they opened was in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Will be back again.

Brought my car in for a previously recommended rear brake service including resurfacing rotors and pads. Not sure if it was really needed, but didn’t want to take a chance. I was quoted $ 169.99 and I had a $ 10 coupon. A while after I left the car I received a call from the manager, Danny. He said the rotors were «rusted» and could not be resurfaced. He said new ones would cost $ 100 more and he could get them in 15 min. Amazing. I agreed, since I didn’t have much choice.
When I picked the car up, the assistant manager would not show me the itemized invoice until I had paid and signed off on the work. This gave me bad vibes but I didn’t make it an issue. After I paid he quickly gave me the invoice and made himself scarce. The price was about what I expected EXCEPT for $ 18.20 labeled «fee». Very creative, no explanation. I guess I’ll never know if new rotors were installed, or if any work was actually done. The invoice also stated «customer wishes to discard old parts» which was not true. They never asked me. I would have liked to view the supposedly rusty rotors. Also I just now noticed the invoice says front brakes when it was supposedly the rear brakes that were bad! Unbelievable!
Stay away from this place!
I am updating my previous one star review. I went back to Tuffy’s today and showed Danny that their recommendation was for rear brake service but the invoice showed front brake service. Apparently it was a clerical error. He was able to show me that the rear brake parts were shiny and new. I won’t go higher than 3 stars because I feel they may have recommended new rotors unnecessarily, because of the mysterious $ 18.20 fee, and because they wouldn’t show me invoice until I had paid. I would probably not return.

I stopped in recently because I had a Groupon for an oil change and tire rotation. I called ahead to see if they were busy. Being a rainy day, they said they only had one car and to come in. Sure enough, I get there and only one car in a bay and lots of guys waiting for business.
Why only 3 stars? Because for so many guys there, I was surprised I waited about 45 minutes. You would think they could crank that out. And on top of it, I was told that they recommended I needed two new tires… ummmm…my car is literally a year old. I don’t need new tires. I hate when places try to sell unnecessary items. But overall an ok experience. The guy at the counter was very nice and didn’t push it when I told him no on the tires.

These guys fixed my punctured tire for $ 20 on a saturday in the time it took me to get a haircut next door.
Great experience.

got an oil change and was needing four tires as well. got a price of $ 1370 and thought it was high so i did some checking else where. three other places the price ranged from $ 919 to $ 950 for the same tires including road service and installation so i wasn’t going to drop it so i called the mgr at tuffy’s and he just said that was the best they could do. i’m giving tuffy’s the business but not what they are looking for. they were a complete rip off on their prices, will never step in there service store again .

There was no reason not to give this place five stars. They got me in ahead of schedule and changed my tires in a timely fashion even with my specific intructions. Affordable and nice guys working here.

We had a tire terribly out of balance and after going to tire kingdom and Wal-​Mart who would not take the time to balance one tire for a measly ten dollars. Tuffy had no problem helping us out. We had a long drive back to Michigan and now it will be a safer one due to Tuffys great customer service.
