History
Established in 2010.
This is a family business owned and operated by Benni, a retired Maui attorney, and her son Marc and his wife Aly.
The three acre property was the home of the Manager of the American Can Company’s nearby Haiku pineapple cannery in the 1920s and 1930s. Our family purchased it in 1971 and lived there for over 40 years.
Marc hand-built the Meadow Cottage in 2006 using local materials. The Cottage was used for he and his wife and children until 2010.
Marc began full restoration of the historic 1921 Cannery Manager’s Home in 2008 and completed it in 2010. The Manager’s Home has since been added to the Hawaii Register of Historic Places.
We started the bed and breakfast and cottage vacation rental as a family enterprise in 2010. We have enjoyed hosting travelers from all over the world since then.
We look forward to meeting you when you are next on Maui!
