History

Established in 2011.

I began loving food when I was a young. Being from a single parent household, I had to learn to cook. I later decided I could make a living at my passion, cooking. After working for several caterers, I decided to start my own business in 2000.

I designed Cortland Mansion, a 7000 square foot event site in Hagerstown, MD. While simultaneously owning and operating a successful catering company, Palate Pleasers Catering.

In 2008 I decided to sell my businesses and travel to California to engage in California Cuisine. While out there, I took a 9 month course in culinary arts and wine studies. This lead to several fantastic opportunities. One included the premier epicurean lifestyle event, Pebble Beach Food & Wine. I worked under fabulous chefs, such as, Michael Chiarello, Todd English, Rick Tramonto and several others. They instilled a deeper passion for simple, healthy cuisine while using only the freshest ingredients. I bring this passion and philosophy to my business, YNO Catering.
