Black Rock Reptiles offers the highest quality captive bred reptiles for pets, breeding stock, and educational purposes. We also offer educational reptile presentations for birthday parties, schools, scouts, and many other groups. Our programs aim to build a respect for reptiles while removing fear of these important animals in our ecosystem. We use a verity of snakes, lizards, and tortoises from around the world. A total of 13 animals including Princess the Green Anaconda, Big Boy the Reticulated Python, Seven the giant Sulcata Tortoise, and Zilla the Black Throat monitor. History

Established in 2007.

Black Rock Reptiles founder and owner Nic has been keeping and breeding reptiles from the age of 12. His passion started with animals he found in his own back yard as a child in Smithsburg MD. Black Rock Reptiles was opened in the spring of 2007. From there it has grown from a small breeding collection of around 50 king snakes in his moms basement to a facility housing several hundred reptiles representing more than 30 species from all corners of the world.
