People at big box are certainly helpful but ACE has another line of products that I prefer. Customer service helpful. Found balaclavas for $ 1.50. Flashlight deal, powerful electric heater, etc.

Just stopped in to have my propane tank refilled. They refused to refill the tank and I did not receive a refund for the money I paid. I got the tank from Blue Rhino last fall. The teenager pointed out a date stamped on tank saying the tank was over ten years old but did not look at the recertification sticker.
I have been. Rockys customer for over twenty-five years. Clearly this is a tactic to sell new tanks.
I called the disrtict manager and all I got was a speech about how they do not want anyone injured by a «old» tank.
They can keep my $ 19.99, I hope it is worth losing my business.

Just plain faster to shop here!
It is just so much easier to shop here than the big box stores. And they have pretty much everything, with comparable prices for most. I was able to find small tools /supplies here that were cheaper than on Amazon, and not available at H.D. or L.

I have to give Rocky’s a bad review after my recent experience with getting my chainsaw repaired there. Rocky’s is an authorized service center for Stihl chainsaws. Perhaps if you need some small hardware thing or a propane refill, it’s ok, but do not take your chainsaw to Rocky’s for repair. It’s a horror story. It took 2 months to get my saw back and then it was not fixed and had missing parts. To make matters worse, the district manager promised to replace my saw, then reneged. How bad is that?
