When we analyze your prescription we take into account your unique visual needs, including and lifestyle needs, in order to recommend the best lens material, scratch coatings, anti-​reflective coatings, and brands for your specific visual needs. There is a difference in lens quality – don’t let anybody fool you, you can see a difference with better quality, properly-​fit lenses. Buying poor quality lenses from stylists with little training is not in your best interest. Our opticians are fully licensed with a minimum of 25 years experience; we are professionals who remain cutting edge in our field through participating in continuing education classes and factory training by Zeiss, Varilux, and others. History

Established in 1947.

Frederick Meserall Sr. started the business after making glasses for soldiers in world war II. His passion for helping others birthed the business still operating today. Shortly after starting the business he added hearing aid services. Having personal experiences with the impacts of hearing loss drove him to add this service with that same passion. His son Fred Meserall Jr. worked alongside of his father and continued the legacy maintaining the high standard of customer service and compassion. Fred Meserall Jr. is now joining forces with his son-​in-​law Ray Hooley making it a rare third generation family business.

Business Owner

Fred is the second generation owner of the business. He is a New Jersey licensed Ophthalmic Dispenser and Hearing Aid Dispenser. He has been an optician and hearing aid dispenser since 1974. He lives a very active lifestyle with hobbies including racquetball, Kung Fu, stand up paddle boarding, and playing the ukulele.
