Description

Specialties

Benefit Concepts, located in historic downtown Haddonfield, NJ, is an employee benefit and financial services firm offering pension solutions, group benefits, and individual wealth management for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

History

Established in 1990.

Daniel Boychuck and his wife Anne had some time before his job transfer from Boston to Columbia, S.C., so they decided to stop off and spend some time with his parents in Bucks County. He never finished his journey. Instead, he decided to start his own company, using his experience with employee benefits to grow a clientele of small businesses and individuals seeking assistance with pension solutions, group benefits and individual wealth management.

Benefit Concepts began with a focus on group medical plans at midsize companies. Within the first two years, it built up a revenue stream of 65 corporate accounts.

In the mid-1990s, Benefit Concepts added dental and life products and began handling 401(k) plans in-house.

Ever since then, the company has had a three-pronged approach comprised of group benefits, 401(k)s and individual wealth management.
