Eat here all the time, the food is great and always tastes fantastic. This is the only place around with an authentic Mexican feel to it, I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading

Everyone working here was extremely friendly. Service was quick. I had the Wet Burrito and it was outstanding. Really great prices for such large portions. Definitely coming back with a bottle of wine to try some of their desserts. They sounded delicious.

I tried the Wet Burrito for the lunch special, which was a steak burrito with cheese and mole sauce drizzled on the outside with a side of rice and beans. The entire meal was very good, it was a snow day so we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our server was very nice, water refills came frequently and boxes for left overs were given with no problem. I like the layout, it’s an open restaurant with tables throughout, everything mexico color themed, with Mexican music playing in the background. For dessert we tried the fried plantains with strawberry tequila sauce. I had never tried a plantain before so it really wasn’t my cup of tea, but the strawberry tequila sauce was very interesting, so I enjoyed being able to try something new. The place was relatively cheap which was nice. Next time I’m back I’d like to give one of the Mexican sodas a whirl.

Since Towie’s closed we’ve been looking for good mexican delivery, and thankfully we finally had a chance to try this place. So far I’ve just had a chance to try a few types of tacos(all very good) and their Pacific Seafood Chimmichanga(EXCELLENT!). I’ll be ordering again today to try a few more items and expand my review a bit!

I ordered a taco salad and a chicken burrito both had no taste the chicken was too dry. Not a lot of vegetables, They forgot napkins forks spoons and the sauces This was my first and last time I order here, not a great experience. Only chose it because it was close by. Not to be completely rude but the only thing that was good was the delivery it was under 25 minutes

I have been to this place a few times before and the food, while not quite stellar, has been satisfactory and overall pretty good. It is not far from my home so tonight I thought I would give it a go for their fajitas, I am HUGE lover of fajitas. The good news first. The nachos and salsa they provide to your table was(were) terrific. The chips are fresh and tasty and the salsa is likely hand crafted. This raised my hopes for the rest of the meal. When my order arrived(very quickly I might add. again a plus) I was pleased to see that they provided enough accessory items on the«boat» to adequately fill the four tortillas without the need to request more… which is something I nearly always have to do. Again, the ingredients were fresh and savory. Now the bad news. The steak used in the fajitas was a poor cut, It was, sadly, nearly inedible. Tough and gristly. In the proper steak fajita one should be able to bite through the steak pieces such that the entire piece does not pull out of the tortilla. This was an enormous disappointment. I have no problem with the price of the entrée at $ 14.95 as it does include the aforementioned chips and salsa which are notable of themselves, but I also believe that no matter what a meal costs, if it cannot be enjoyed then it is never money well spent. I won’t say that I would never go back there but if and when I do I would not be ordering that item again. RMacs Bar, a bit further west on White Horse Pike, has excellent steak fajitas and in the future I will make the trip there when the whim strikes.

My husband and I love this place. We always order delivery through grubhub. Today our order arrived in 15 mins! For 1pm on football Sunday that’s pretty great. The chicken quesadilla is good and comes with shredded chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese(of course!) with sides of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. For $ 7.95 this very fair. The Taco de Asada is my favorite. Straight forward steak, onions, cilantro on a corn tortilla with a side of limes and salsa. My husband gets a burrito that he quite enjoys. Someone compared this to Taco Bell. I want know what Taco Bell they’re going to because that’s so far off from my experience.

We came here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and each meal was authentic and delicious. My husband tried the paella it was bursting with flavor, although he wasn’t a fan that they served it with octopus. The owner and staff said they can make anything on the menu gluten free(burrito bowl instead of flour tortilla). We definitely recommend Jalapenos 2 if your in the area. Lastly their music selection is an added bonus.

Boy did they step it up!!! New uniforms and tablecloths were the first sign. Food was awesome Mexican pork taco and tamales. Fried cheesecake was great as well as flan. Top with a great margarita with my tequila.

The good: Epic burrito. Everything about it was perfect. Great prices especially for the amount of food you get. Food also arrived insanely fast. The less-good: I don’t want to say bad, but the guac was not great. Waaay too much citrus. Hopefully I just got a bad batch, will try it again in the future. On the plus side I think the chips that are served with it are home made, they were good.

Another local Mexican option around town. I don’t think i would go out of my way again to come here. The place was empty as we walked in. A couple and family of four came in after us. This place wouldn’t be my top choice for Mexican. I had a hankering for paella and they had it on the menu. I should’ve known better than to expect an authentic paella. It was basically saffron rice on a plate with what tasted like frozen seafood. It mentioned chorizo but there was none. The shrimp however were huge and tasty. I give them props for a hugs serving size, enough to have leftovers even if your sharing. The horchata was delicious. If that was bad i probably would’ve left prior to ordering. The guy ordered the jalapeño chimichanga and was satisfied. He also had a taco which i can’t recall but i was not a fan.

I’m on the fence about this place and I want to try more to get a better opinion. I woke up on Saturday morning and had a craving for Queso Fundido. I was on a mission to find some and this restaurant popped up. Now, my problem was I had some within the past couple months that was incredible. But that restaurant is up in Northeast Philly and really didn’t want to drive 45 minutes for this delicious dip. I was putting pressure on Jalapenos to produce a similar dip and they did not. The chips were great. The dip itself was overly greasy and had one note. I wanted to make sure I had something healthier to go along with my chips and queso fundido and decided to go with the Fiesta House salad. It was fine, but there certainly no fiesta. Contrary to the description for that salad, there was just 1 green used, romaine, not mixed. Corn relish? Was that the black beans tossed in to make a ‘corn relish’? The Mexican cheese looked more like shredded cheddar. The dressing I believe was a Chipotle ranch. But it was green and wasn’t fantastic. I know it was my fault going in with the dreams of having the queso fundido that I previously had, but I know what I like and I know what’s good. Maybe I should try a burrito next time.

My girlfriends and I went to Jalapeños late on a Saturday night. I liked the vibe of this place and you can immediately tell it’s going to be great authentic Mexican food. The portions were huge! The guacamole was very flavorful although not much quantity for the price. I ordered tacos al pastor and although flavorful, the tortilla was so greasy. It was almost as if they dipped the tortilla in oil then put on the toppings(very strange). I would up eating my taco«insides» on top of the complimentary chips. We had a great time at Jalapeños and practically had the place to ourselves! BYOB

We read a good review in the Courier-Post and wanted to try this place. We were not disappointed! A basket of complementary(yummy) chips and salsa graced our table quickly while we looked over the menu. Our table ordered a variety of soft tacos without the onion and cilantro, the Chiles Rellenos and we shared a serving of flan for dessert. Additionally, we ordered the quesadillas and we were pleasantly surprised by how full of cheese and chicken they were. EVERYTHING was delicious and exactly how we ordered it. I am a big fan of their Chiles Rellenos and their pork carnitas. SOGOOD. The service was fast and friendly. We will be back!

This is a great little spot to grab some freshly made Mexican dishes. I personally love the Authentic Mexican style tacos. The servers are very friendly and the owner loves to talk about how the food is made and likes to make different salsas that can be tried upon request. If you like spicy salsa, ask to try some of the hot stuff.

I was passing by looking for something to eat and came across Jalapeños Grill. It is a very authentic Mexican restaurant and service is absolutely excellent! Our server was Amparo she was so friendly and attentive ! I had a Salmon Salad and it was delicious. The balsamic vinaigrette was something I had never had tasted before… OMG… My husband had Pork Chop Vaquero which was just as delicious! We will definitely come. back and will recommend this cute eatery to everyone we know. Also its a BYOB even better!!!

Nice combination of authentic and American Mexican food. Girlfriend had a hard shell taco and chicken quesadilla while I have 4 tacos(2 lengua and 2 al pastor). Panicked when I wasn’t asked hard or soft shell when I ordered but was assured they would be served Mexican style. Phew! Good stuff. Normal test of goodness, lengua wasn’t overcooked: tender and tasty. Server says they have goat tacos on weekends. Yum, yum. Unike another reviewer, I did get complimentary chips and salsa with dinner.

This property has previously housed quite a few unsuccessful pizzerias. I am glad they opened a Mexican joint here. This appears to be the sister store of the Haddonfield location. I decided to stop-in and test the waters with my standby, Tacos. Currently, they don’t serve any complementary chips & salsa. It is not a deal breaker for me but it would be nice if they did. Guac & Chips: The chips appear to be house-made, they arrived to my table hot. Some of the chips were clumped/stuck together, lacked seasoning and were slightly overdone. The other half of the chips were better. The portion of the Guacamole was too small, not a good chips-to-guac ratio. The taste/preparation of the guac was so-so, not my favorite.(admittedly, I am part of the population that dislikes cilantro). I prefer the guac that is served at the La Guadalupana or the Tortilla Press restaurants. Tacos:(The portions were good) — Chicken: lacked seasoning & was dry. — Beef: slightly better than the chicken but still lacked seasoning. — Pork Carnitas: these were good, I would order again. Service: It appeared this may have been his first time as a server? He seemed nervous. Throughout my meal he addressed me as ‘chief’, ‘bro’, ‘Homie’ and ‘sir’(not making this up). He was very personable and attentive, that is what counts. Pricing: reasonable I am willing to to try this place again, I observed a few entrée type of offerings coming out of the kitchen that looked appetizing.
