Restorations, modifications, scanning etc. Prints & other photo services from prints, slides, negatives, digital files or DVD videos (home videos only) are available. Images can be printed, scanned and burned onto CDs or DVDs as slides shows or archival storage, or electronically delivered. No order is too small, too big or too unusual. Tell me what you want and I’ll see that it can be accomplished. Each order is personalized and customized to meet your needs. Rush services are available with no additional costs. Having your order completed on the premises provides you with peace and mind knowing that your irreplacable photos are safe and secure. As a home-​based business, I can offer the same quality as professional labs without having to pass on high overhead costs to the customer.

History

Established in 1989.

Custom Photo Services started as a result of the lack of local businesses offering photo restoration and having orders completed on the premises. Photos as far back as the Civil War have been copied and restored. The goal is to replicate the reproductions as close to the original photo. Photos have been copied and restored for major companies, universities and a TV Network. Personalized service allows each customer the opportunity to receive the results requested. This is a home-​based business, so quality is the same as most labs but with more affordable costs. The greatest fear most people have is a lab losing their irreplacable photos — this will never happen bacause all work is completed on the premises. If a photo cannot be reproduced as good if not better than the original, there is no charge for any work done. A win-​win situation.

Working in local photo labs, I found that the need for quality photo restoration was not being served well. I researched and learned techniques that would produce results that many customers sought. No unusual sources or requests are refused and I have been able to provide the results that many labs could not or would not provide. I first started with a traditional black&white darkroom and have since progressed to digital restoration. Using industry standard software provides me with the tools necessary to create the best results possible. I am constantly researching new methods that will not only increase the quality and diversity of work, but also help to keep costs affordable.
