OVERVEW:(4) A great place for mani/pedi. It’s kind of run down, in need of a bit of updating, but the service is great and they really do a wonderful job. MANI:(4.5) They are quick and efficient. Regular polish or gel, they do such a good job that the polish stays nice for over 2 weeks. PEDI:(4.5) As with the mani, they are quick and efficient if that is what you want. If you want it to last, they will take their time and give you a true spa pedicure. Fresh lemon juice and honey make for a soothing aromatherapy experience as well. SERVICE:(5) Everyone, and I mean everyone, who works there is openly nice and outgoing. They make you feel like you are the most important person there, and will gladly bring you into whatever conversation is going on when you get there. They strive to make the experience memorable, and it is. DECOR:(2.5) Overall the place is very clean, just looks kind of run down, almost shabby. Don’t let that deter you from the place. Look past the décor to the service and workmanship of the ladies who work there.

For a pedicure — this place is fabulous! If you love a really looooong pedicure and have nothing to do for a while, definitely try this place. It looks like a generic run-of-the-mill shop from the outside(and inside) but they treat you really well once you get in that(massaging) chair. As long as you don’t shave your legs the same day you’re getting your feet done, they rub real lemons and honey into your legs during the calf massage. They really take their time with the massage and use big hot stones when they’re done. Between that, and the massage chair, you really could fall asleep. The staff is really funny and polite and although they play a little bit of musical-chairs with your massager /toenail clipper /painter, its kind of cool because each of them are very talented in their own way. I gave it 4 stars because for $ 30 I got a really time-consuming french pedicure/massage and I guess I would have really given it 5 stars if the ambience was nicer.(Just to be clear too, I said they have a parking lot, but it is actually across the street.) I also did a review on a place in Chester, N.J. which was absolutely beautiful inside with bamboo floors etc., but to be honest, I would continue to go back to this Main St. shop in Hackettstown because the service was just the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been here a few times already.
