The Hackettstown Business Improvement District seeks to protect and improve the economic potential of each and every business that chooses to locate in Hackettstown. By attempting to provide a clean, safe, attractive business district that meets the needs of residents, customers, owners, and employees, the Business Improvement District promotes Hackettstown as a desirable location to visit or invest.
The Hackettstown BID is a non-profit organization that partners the public and private sectors in the promotion and development of the Hackettstown commercial district.
History
Established in 2005.
The Hackettstown Business Improvement District attempts to attract, retain, and promote businesses that add to the quality of life of residents of Hackettstown and surrounding communities.
The BID will:
Communicate with local businesses
Assess what types of businesses would bring customers to Hackettstown
Evaluate how the BID is achieving its goals
Advertise and promote the Hackettstown Business District
Apply to grant opportunities
Plan street improvements
Recruit and retain local businesses
The Business Improvement District is elected by the local businesses in Hackettstown, and the Committee has a fiduciary responsibility to the businesses they serve.
