Budd Lake Bagel & Deli II

I have been stopping in here for bagels about 2 or 3 times a month. I still think they have good bagels but I have not bought another breakfast sandwich because they are over priced for the sandwich you get. There are other stores in the area that are far better for breakfast sandwiches.
I did try lunch and will not do that again. I really expected it to be OK since they advertise Boar’s Head meat but was very unhappy with my sandwich. I ordered a Roast Beef and Turkey Sloppy Joe which is a pretty standard sandwich for Northern NJ. But what I got tasted like it came from a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike. The meat did not taste fresh at all and the cole slaw was horrible.
The bottom line is the bagels are with worth buying but don’t waste your money on anything else.

I have a problem with the breakfast sandwich I purchased. While tasty, $ 4.55 for 1 ½ slices of Taylor ham, 1 egg is a lot of money.
Staff could be a little more attentive, felt like I was bothering them by my presence.

I was surprised when I first walked in. They did such a great job with the renovation, the place is so nice and clean compared to the place before that. Everyone is so friendly especially the owner who greets everyone walking in.
The bagels are large and the French toast bagel was still good even the next day. You get a small serving of salad with all sandwiches ordered. The veggie panini was good but I wish they added more veggies.
Will definitely be back.

In my opinion the BEST bagel place in Hackettstown, after having bagels from multiple other places in HTown, this has to be by far the best made and then prepared bagels.
The bagels are fresh and soft, and have just enough crunch when you bite into them, they don’t burn the bagels or sloppily throw your order together like other places I know.
They also gave us a sample of their strawberry shortcake and it was DELICIOUS can’t wait to try other baked goods from them!
Also offer a wide array of items for breakfast and lunches, looking forward to trying other things they have to offer aside from just the breakfast items
**In a rush? You can even call ahead and pickup your order via their drive thru, but you have to order via phone before arrival!**

Great breakfast sandwiches, good service, clean and friendly. Lots of sandwich options, bagels made fresh every morning. I’ve been going to the other one in budd lake for a long time, and this one is even better.
