Spotless Quick Lube

Went for the oil change here. They were fast and courteous. The synthetic oil change came with a free car wash as well. I would rate this place on par with Jiffy Lube. Make sure you confirm the price with the technician before leaving your car so you know what to expect. Very convenient and much faster than the dealership which makes you wait for over an hour for an oil change.

Convenient fast and quick. More importantly honest. My wife goes here all the time. They do a good job and they are not looking to take advantage of people who are not good with cars.

Had a much better recent experience. It seems like they had a complete turnaround.
The staff was super friendly when I went Friday at lunch time. Whoever assisted was really nice and polite to me. I really appreciated it. Also, all of them were professional as they worked on my car (there actually were a few employees working on my one car since I was the only one there that day).
They didn’t try to up sell me anything.
I actually asked them for help with my wipers and they told me the prices right away honestly.
It was a bit pricey but I like that you can just sit in your car and wait. It doesn’t take too long.
Also, you get a coin to get a free car wash/​discounted car wash.

Terrible place. I went here to get an oil change and the guy tried to up sell me on all kinds of nonsense. Even told me I might break down on the road. Then he didn’t tighten the oil filter properly and when I left I knew something didn’t feel right. Went back to ask them what was wrong and they couldn’t find what was wrong! Took it to my TRUSTED mechanic who fixed the problem. I went back to tell them what he found and they offered me a free oil change. Like I’m going to come back and have you screw up the car again ?! No way.

If all you’re going to be getting is a simple oil change then this place is just fine. It’s convenient and easy and fairly quick, as the name suggests. The reason for my one star is this — I purchased a used car back in September. A couple days after I got the car I brought it to spotless quick lube for an oil change. The technician informed me that I needed to replace the air filter so I told him to go ahead and do so. Later that evening while driving, my car started shaking and then stalled out and wouldn’t restart. We called the used car dealer, freaking out, assuming we had been sold a lemon. The next morning we had the car towed to the mechanic and a quick look under the hood was all it took for the mechanic to determine that the issue was that whoever changed the air filter forgot to replace or tighten the cap and that was causing the car not to be able to run. He replaced the cap and we were on our way. Yesterday, 7 months after that incident, I returned to spotless quick lube for an oil change. This time I had a different technician working on my car, however he suggested that I let him replace the air filter. I figured the odds of a different technician making the same mistake was slim to none so I told him to go ahead. Sure enough, a few hours later my car stalled out again. We had the car towed to the mechanic and he found the same issue. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this business. The majority of the workers are careless and incompetent and they’ve caused too many issues for me at this point.

Good service this place looks really good service I was in and out of there very quickly very impressed they didn’t try to mark up everything and even told me that I can’t keep my air filter in there for another 3000 miles happy about that a lot better than a lot of other places so I recommend this place for oil changes and I got a free car wash to give to you

Warning! Do not go here. After I had my oil changed and went to pay for it they added a $ 20 additional filter charge stating My car had an expensive oil filter so they had to charge more even though I was already getting the premium service which was suppose to include a premium filter as it states on their billboard and they didn’t even notify me of this before changing the oil which raises suspicions even more. I even checked online for my filter price and it is only $ 12 so why the fraudulent additional charge? I will be notifying the better business bureau and consumer protection agency regarding their fraudulent sales practices.

First time I went here for an oil change they did tell me I had to fix something else. Not sure if it was upsell or I really needed to fix it. The second time I came here they did not tighten the oil drain screw fully and I had about a quart to two quarts leak. They also seemed to use 10w oil on a winter weather on my suv.
Therefore I rate this place «I’ve experienced better». Nice people, but service wasn’t done accurately. Will probably never go back. Their car wash systems are good though.

They take super long and always try to up sell me on random stuff. The only reason why I go here is because my car is lowered and won’t fit on anyone else’s ramp.

I’ve been coming here for the car wash for years, it’s down the road, it’s convenient. The drive through is good. Though it is pricier than the one by my work that gives a full service in/​out cleaning for $ 12!!! Can’t beat that!

This was my first time there, very clean and in an easily accessible location. I went in for an oil change and transmission fluid flush. great deals on both. with the coupons they offer online it was only $ 189. Compared to $ 400-​$ 500 at dealers.
That’s not why i’m writing this review though.
While they were performing the trans fluid flush, one of hose clamps to the radiator broke off. My car has 126,000 on it and they were very honest with me and apologized for the radiator and informed me that they would replace it for free. The reason for 5 stars is that MOST places in NJ or NY could have easily said that a car with that many miles on it was bound to need a new radiator or that the ‘noticed” a leak in it but this was not the case. they were extremely helpful and the manager mike even gave me a ride to the doctors office so I wouldn’t miss the appointment. PLUS you get a free car wash token to boot. great place, they certainly have my business going forward. Mike the manager, Mike and Zack the techs were great.

I recommend Spotless Quick Lube for oil changes. It may not be the cheapest place but I’ve never had a problem with their work.
I always use the self service wash. I think it’s good clean fun to wash my own ride. I only spend about $ 7 — 8 a pop. Just bring your own towels to dry it off.

For a quicklub/​car wash they are fine, (they’ll try and up-​sell you on an air filter etc. but what else is new?)
For brakes look elsewhere. I was taken to the cleaners by a mechanic named Jonathan. He quotes me $ 285 for replacing the brake pads and rotors with a 2 year parts and labor «warranty.» (His words.) I think this sounds reasonable and know that I am overdue to get my brakes done so I agreed. However, upon checkout when I receive my receipt I notice that there is no warranty paperwork anywhere to be found.
I say to the manager: «there’s a 2 year warranty right?»
«Oh no, there’s NO warranty.» he replies.
I am stunned. The mechanic flat-​out lied to me. After a big row with the mechanic and the manager, the manager signs his name to my receipt saying «That if you come in we’ll take care of you. I’ve been here for 13 years.»
Fingers crossed that I won’t have any problems with these brakes.
