Salon G – Dazzles

I bought this deal from Groupon for hair cut and single processing color. My stylist was Daniella. She is awesome. She gave me the best hair cut ever. I loved it.

Jen did my blow out and it was great, I already have straight hair but she took the time to make sure everything was perfect. She’s so nice and easy to talk to. Everyone is so friendly, I love it. I’ll def be returning.

Jen cut my hair and she did a great job. She took her time with my hair and I could tell she was trying to make sure that each layer was even. I highly recommend her. In addition, they are super friendly here and offer you tea or coffee. They even gave me a cannoli while I was waiting.

I came here for the first time and used a groupon for a haircut and conditioning. I am so glad I did! My previous haircut was a disaster and so I was really looking forward to getting it fixed. Jen was the one who did my hair cut and really took her time to make sure that it was fixed. She told me what wasn’t done right and gave it a new bounce. I’m definitely coming back here again! Highly recommended!

My experience today was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a hair salon. The staff was soo friendly, kind and patient. Danielle did my hair she makes you feel so comfortable and takes really great care of you. I’ve gone to other salons where they sit you down and ignore you. But it was so different here, they engage you in the process, they explain the pros and cons of doing different styles or colors… i bought this Groupon deal thinking I need to try something new and I’m soo glad I did …I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Once you come here you won’t want to leave.

got a groupon to this place. the stylist did a good job but was pretty polite but curt. the place itself was nice enough, but tbh the group was worth a $ 75 haircut and i don’t think it was really worth that much.

If this review was solely based on Glory who did my color, cut and style, it would be 5 stars. She was polite, informative, gave me exactly what I wanted and I walked away REALLY liking my hair.
The reduction in stars for my rating is based on the quality of the salon. I had a Groupon that I paid $ 65 for that included highlight, conditioning, cut and style. I also wanted my roots colored and I was told that would be an additional $ 60. After using the Groupon and asking what my services would have cost without the Groupon, I was told approx. $ 200. That is a pretty steep price tag — even higher than prices I have paid in Ridgewood, Hoboken, etc… where the salons are meticulously maintained. A few things that happened at Salon G that I was unhappy with:
1. The chairs are light and flimsy. There was no place to put my purse (I placed it on the ground where it was covered in hair) and when I leaned over to get my phone the chair basically toppled forward. One of the other hairdressers standing nearby basically stared at me and didn’t ask if I was ok or needed help.
2. The receptionist left at 6:30. The salon was open until 8. This caused one of the hairdressers to approach me DURING my haircut to pay at 7PM. After I got up and handed her my card, Glory started cutting again. I was then told to get up a second time to go to the register and sign. This is all DURING my haircut.
3. There were no bags left to place over my foils while I was under the dryer. I heard numerous conversations about supplies that were «out» during my time there.
4. The chairs to get your hair washed are in a permanent vertical position. Typically, you sit in the chair, lean back and the chair reclines. I have neck issues and was uncomfortable trying to lean back. I’ve never been to a salon with this type of chair.
I hate that the rest of my experience was so negative because Glory was great — but knowing that if I go back without a groupon that this type of service would be $ 200, I can’t say it’s worth it until they start to look/​act like a salon that warrants those prices.

Sam cut my mom’s hair. She’s is a lovely person and had alot of patience with my mom. My mom was very happy with her haircut & color!

First time going to this salon few days ago… I purchase an offer from groupon to get a haircut and deep conditioning for $ 29 and I was a little afraid to let a new person cut my hair, but I can truly say that I loved my hair stylist. Her name is Sam and she was not only very professional but also very talented on what she does. She did exactly what I asked her for and was fun to talk to! Will definitely coming back to her again and again!
The place is small but nice and clean and they offer you coffee or tea while waiting under the dryer! Overall, a very nice experience!

For 6 years I’ve been looking for the right hair stylist. I found salon G on a groupon and I figured what the hell, it can’t be worse than the places I’ve been to. (I have short hair, and I have to constantly trim it, but apparently a trim means to chop my whole hair off to other hair stylists.)
I met Glori, right off the bat she was amazing. She sat down next to me before the haircut, asked me questions to understand exactly what I wanted, and I showed her pictures.
When she was done with my haircut she said if I liked it but I LOVED it. She did exactly what I asked for.
Side note: If you don’t like your haircut you can come back for free and the fix it.

I have been a customer of Salon G (Formally known as dazzles) for approximately 15 years. Prior to discovering this salon I bounced around from place to place with no particular commitment to any one establishment. Since I found Salon G I have not had the need to look elsewhere; I am here to stay.
The combination of skill, friendliness, and the overall personal connection I feel within this clean and modern establishment make it a winning combination for me. Gerard, the owner, truly cares for his business and continuously ensures the quality of the work is maintained to the highest standards. Over the years I have had several of the stylists employed here cut my hair and I have never had a bad experience.
Male or female, this review comes with the highest of recommendations. If you’re in search of a new salon or just looking for a new place to try, look no further. 5-​Stars.

Talk about getting a new head of hair for a decent price! Today was my first time going here and I am definitely coming back. I went last week. I purchased a groupon. I was very pleased with their service. Frankie was great. She’s capable, friendly yet professional.

I was extremely scared about highlighting my hair since I had once had a bad experience in the past. I am asian and of course that comes with thick hair that often hairdressers look past. My roommate informed me of this place and told me to go see Olga. She and her mother both swear by her, and after my experience I probably do now too. Olga was extremelyyy nice and understanding. She took time listening to what I wanted and my fears of what I didn’t want. The service was also very nice – they bring you tea/​coffee in a very comfortable environment. After highlighting, she also was able to give me a great cut that suited my face shape and everything. Everything came out amazing and i coudln’t have been happier. They are a bit pricey, with haircuits starting around 50ish. my highlighting (i have very long hair) came out to be around 170, but i can assure you it was well worth it.
