History

Established in 1933.

The late Samuel Hekemian, Sr., an enterprising tailor from Armenia who sewed up his first real estate deal in the 1920s, founded Hekemian & Co., Inc.

With an auspicious beginning and tremendous foresight, Mr. Hekemian built the foundation for the firm’s phenomenal growth over the next 70 years.

Today, Hekemian & Co. has evolved into one of the most respected real estate firms in the Northeast and Mid-​Atlantic regions, with a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
