Their food is more… trusting lol. I like it, because it’s always clean and the service is excellent.

The people who work here are so rude. They got my order completely wrong and when I called to see if they would do anything about it, I was given an attitude and I was refused compensation of any sort. They said that the most they could do would be charge me for a new meal. They continued to talk over me and tell me I was wrong and the whole experience was horrible. The order that they did give me was totally soggy and mushy and the rice was overlooked. NEVERAGAIN. Stay away.

Actually 5 reviews in one! But a narrow review, comparing only Hot and Sour Soup in 5 Hackensack«north Main street area» «fast style» Chinese restaurants. I’m putting these in Green Apple because their Hot & Sour Soup was the best of the 5. Here’s the list and my appraisal: Green Apple(336 Main St) Best of the 5 — 4 of 5 stars Hong Kong(817 Main St) Second — 4 of 5 stars Great Wall(254 Main St) Third — 3 of 5 stars East China(196 Main St) Fourth — 1 of 5 stars China Palace(93 Anderson) Fifth — 0 stars(sorry) Green Apple’s Hot & Sour Soup is a great choice for the Hot & Sour Soup connoisseur! The right spice and the only one of the 5 that had a sour taste. Hong Kong’s also had a good flavor, but not nearly sour enough. Great Wall’s was a little off and the other two I can’t recommend.

It may seem odd that I would give only two stars and say that I am a frequent customer, and recommend them, but it is true! The food is not the best in any category. What they have, is a menu that has just about anything you might want at very reasonable prices and they deliver on time. Have you ever seen a menu with Chinese, Italian, Seafood and Chicken Pot Pie? Most frequently I get tortellini alfredo with shrimp and fried zucchini with beefeater sauce.
