My friends and I wanted to go smoke some Hookah and relax. We got to the Café and were seated at a leather couch. The atmosphere was pretty dark. We were given some menus to look at for flavors. This is where things got bad. The live«music» started playing which was so painfully loud that I couldn’t talk at all with my friends sitting right next to me. It wasn’t just loud their audio system was making noise intermittently too so it sounded horrific. My friend tried to order some of the combination flavors but apparently they didn’t have any of them. So we ordered pomegranate. When we got our hookah we started smoking it and it had absolutely no flavor at all. It had NO flavor. On a scale of 1 — 10 where 10 is like wow this has so much flavor i would say the hookah was at about a 1.2. Maybe i should have brought some fruit with me to put in my mouth before smoking. Needless to say I did not enjoy smoking terrible hookah while listening to obnoxiously loud noise and not being able to communicate with my friends other than, man this place sucks and this is awkward. To top off the crappy experience we got the bill. Beware this place is a scam. They charge 15 $ per person just to get in apparently and there is no mention of that until you get your bill. Then the 1 hookah we ordered was also 15. They also include tax and a tip. TIP? How do they even calculate it? Who knows. In brief i hope this place goes out of business. The money they charged me that night was ridiculous. 73 $ for 1 hookah and 3 people just sitting on a couch. I sincerely hope none of you have to go through the miserable experience. The only person who should go to this place is someone who likes feeling trendy at no cost. You should enjoy terribly blaring music and expensive flavorless hookah. I think i made my point clear. Take care people!

Great décor and plenty of space but the place is not popular yet. I heard on friday and saturday nights, the crowd could get up to 200 people but there is a cover charge and a minimum for dinner because they have DJs and belly dancers. The service is very good. The owner is extremely friendly.

A unique fun spot if you’re looking for something different. They have good bands, and decent middle eastern cuisine(lots of good snacky options) but you dont really come here for the food. The food is just a nice add on while you’re enjoying the music and the hookah. Where else in NJ can you go out for a group smoke? Its fun! No liquor license but you can bring your own.

Unfortunately, I so far haven’t had a chance to try the hookah or stay for a band, but the atmosphere was very chic and they had some great panini. Good hummus too, although the falafel appetizer I had was sadly dry and sub-par. Two things about Café Arabica stick out in my mind: the peanut butter and chocolate pita wedges and the fact that the waitress wrote her phone number on the back of the customer evaluation card without specifying whom among my two female dining companions and me it was meant for, which lead to a lot of confused whispering of ‘no, I think it’s for you’ while we paid the check.
