Anna Collado, DO

Long story short, Dr. Collado delivered my daughter in 2012. I had a challenging pregnancy after the 30 week mark — fibroid degeneration, high blood pressure, etc. Dr. Collado was with me every step of the way. She delivered my daughter via C Section (as my fbroids were blocking the birth canal) and she also gave me an emergency myectomy during the C Section.
Dr Collado is no-​nonsense and will tell it to you like it is. I love her for that. I also really like Darlene Clemente, the Nurse Practioner. I will also mention that before I had my daughter, I had a miscarriage in 2010 which devastated me. Both Darlene and Dr. Collado were supportive and understanding. That meant a lot to me.
Hackensack is a 20 min drive for me, but I won’t go anywhere else.

I have been going to Dr. Collado since 1998. She delivered my first born, whose 16 yrs old now and she was there for my second pregnancy, my 13 yrs old. I am very happy with her. She makes me feel comfortable. Darlene, the nurse practitioner, is very friendly.
I don’t have any issues with the front desk or the nurses. They are very pleasant.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Anna Collado’s for over a year now and I would say that my experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
I first visited Dr. Collado’s office when I discovered I was two months pregnant. At my very first appointment, Dr. Collado suspected that I had fibroids, something I was blissfully unaware of. This was confirmed via ultrasound with one fibroid almost 20 cm in size. The large fibroid began degenerating when I was 24 weeks causing me significant pain. I was at work the first time that I experienced the most horrendous pain I have ever felt. I called Dr. Collado and she immediately told me to go to the Labor and Delivery Unit at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Collado notified the unit that I was on my way. She also took the time to come and visit with me personally that evening, which shows her dedication and commitment to her patients and her work. She could very easily have gone home. If it was not for Dr. Collado and the care and attention I received over the months that followed, I would not have reached the important 37 week milestone. Dr. Collado delivered my beautiful baby boy by c-​section on May 13 this year. My husband and I could not be happier.
Fast forward six months, I’m now 10 days post-​surgery following an abdominal myomectomy to remove my fibroids. This surgery was also performed by Dr. Collado. I feel great and cannot believe how quickly I’ve recovered. I have minimal pain and the incision was so carefully made that you can barely even tell I’ve had surgery!
Dr. Collado is professional, experienced and has a good sense of humor. I wholeheartedly trust Dr. Collado and have no reservations recommending her to others. I already know of two people who are seeing her based on my recommendation.

The staff at this office is extremely rude. I’m not surprised to see the bad ratings. The parking is horrible.

Went there for first visit. The staff is curt and rude girl at the desk was on the phone on a personal call did not acknowledge my presence.
Had to wait an hour just to see a nurse practitioner. Very short staffed. A very small practice. Only one doctor, if she is not available then you end up with a different practice.

I had my first visit there yesterday and I LOVE them! The staff is very friendly, the office is clean and inviting, and Nurse Clemente really took the time to answer my questions. This is by far the best OB-​GYN I’ve ever had.
