I am the Operational Manger at All Points Shipping and I’m very sorry about the experience that 4 customers had with us. We pride ourselves in our work and service over 50 000 customers on the east coast. I have to admit I am proud to say that we have broken our record this year with a minimum of complaints. We work with shippers in every state in the USA and Internationally. I appreciate the feed back because we can only get better when customers come forth with there experience, we don’t like to make the same mistake twice.
We are also under new management and have made many changes. We also have stricter pick up policy’s with pictures and walking thru the items with the customers so all is noted. We NOW offer insurance for all shipments. I hope that the experience of 4 customers, out of 50 000 customers we serve, does not discourage others from a great shipping expiriance with All Points Shipping & Crating. I would like to thank the 4 customers that have helps us to be a better company.

These guys were great. Contacted me several times. Day of delivery I got a call with the time. A bit later they called to say they were running late but would be there within the hour. They arrived, all my stuff was in perfect shape. I don’t get the negative reviews. Seemed very competent to me.

I was assigned to All Points by a national shipping company. I read the negative reviews at the time, and thought, «Maybe all that bad stuff won’t happen to me.» That is the last time I think of myself as an exception to a rule. All Points is unscrupulous. Notably, on the Household Goods Descriptive Inventory, they will downgrade the condition of all of your items and lie about the existence of scratches and marks in order to cover themselves and deny accountability for expected future damage that they presumably plan on causing. In one instance, they dropped a dresser and broke my window treatments, and voila, their prophecy about the marks on the dresser came to fruition. Perhaps, lying is a standard industry practice, in which case, the only consolation that decent consumers have is that karma always wins.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Disaster. They do not have Worker’s Compensation — or at least could not prove that they did for my building management. They cancelled my shipment without telling me. When I called for answers, they told me that my building management was «bragging [huh?] that we needed Worker’s Compensation proof to enter and we don’t have that.» Uh, yeah. it is illegal to NOT have Worker’s Compensation insurance. Also, they refused to apologize for any inconvenience they caused me. All Points was contracted out by a company called ShipSmart, who are very fine, nice people. If you choose ShipSmart in NYC, make sure to request their other contractor in Long Island (can’t remember the name). AVOID All Points if at all possible.

BUYER BEWARE — these are by far the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I too was referred to them by a very reputable moving company. This was a small job as we were giving furniture away and shipping it to our daughter. The moving men came unprepared, with no tools to remove the legs of our Frontgate, wrought iron, picnic table. When it reached its destination, our daughter discovered that the legs that were removed were actually broken off.
After several calls to the owner, John, who insisted we could amicably resolve this matter, actually had his dispatcher call me back to argue the fact with me, telling me that the table was already broken.
The only thing I am at fault for is not researching properly. Had I read the other awful reviews, I never would have called these guys. And since I cannot go backwards, not only will I NEVER recommend them to anyone, I have already called the person who referred them to me and asked him to remove them from his list.
Lesson learned…
And to add salt to the wound, when our MasterCard bill came two weeks later we discovered that these losers charged us twice!

CONSUMERS BEWARE — I was referred to this company by another moving company. I moved from NY-​Texas and the way they handled my move was VERY unprofessional. They have lost many of my most valuable items. I trusted the owner John to say he was going to take care of it for me, long story short he dragged out my case for over a year to have one of his managers call me to say they are not responsible. No integrity and not trust worthy. The experience I had I would not want anyone to have the same exeperience. There are better companies out there that will handle your move a lot smooth, with care and integrity. I would highly NOT recommend using this company at all !!! All they cared about was being paid and when it came to helping their customer to get our lost items handled they didnt care. We had high end items stolen from our move, all we got was sorry after giving them over a year and for them to not be able to follow through on what they have been telling us. BEWARE and STAY AWAY from this company !
