Last December we needed to get our roof checked for a possible leak. Most Roofers I called answered they were busy. Brian Alarcon from JW Roofing Services responded to our call. He checked our roof, did some patching and gave us an honest preliminary condition of it. Our roof is still good for a couple of years.
Truly amazing service and he did not charge us at all for his time and effort. This is the kind of people you would want to do business.

I asked this company to make an estimate to make a repair but the person insisting that I need to change the whole paper that he did look what the problem yet. Then he just told me it is useless to talk to me, Then he just leave. I don’t think this is a professional businessman.

We checked out several roofing companies and finally went with JW Roofing. Warren Cross was exceptional in explaining all of our options. He spent a long time up on our roof while others were up on top about 15 minutes. He took pictures and explained in great detail what his crew would be doing. The crew was amazing as well. Very professional and very clean. Covered everything to protect it from debris! They were done in two and a half days. Extremely punctual! Took care of EVERYTHING including permit. This was an investment in our home and we are thrilled with the results. Hands down if you need a new roof, just call Warren!

JW Roofing is very reliable and they do great work. They did the roof on my home in 2008 and were very helpful in roofing advice on the purchase of a new home. Just remind them to make sure the permit gets finaled with the City. For the 2008 work on my home, that step was forgotten, but when I brought it to their attention 7 years later, they were very cooperative with getting the city inspector back out to the house to get the final permit.

My wife and I spent a number of months looking into a new roof for our house. We finally decided to go with Warren Cross and his crew from JW Roofing. He was great in explaining all our options and encouraged us to look into different types of roofs and talk to other roofers to get as much information as possible. Warren answered any questions we had while we were making our decision even before we had committed to hiring him. He is extremely experienced and knowledgable about roofing and is happy to impart any wisdom he has if your interested.
Ultimately we decided to go with a Stone-​Coated Steel roof, we chose Metro Shake tiles, Western Wood was the color, I believe. Metal roofing is definitely more expensive but after looking into all the options, the benefits made the investment worth it. I encourage people to at least investigate metal roofing for their homes when making a decision. It looks incredible, is energy efficient, lasts much longer than asphalt or clay tiles, and is completely fire and wind resistant.
Warren’s demo crew showed up on a Friday morning in late July (extremely hot) and worked a good 12 hours to make sure the old roof was completely removed and the exterior of house was as clean as could be expected after such a dirty job. We had 3 layers of old roof, 2 layers of asphalt tile sandwiched around a layer of wood shake, it was messy. They tarped the whole roof just in case we had any rain and were back the next day, a Saturday. The crew, led by Armando who was great, extremely talented and experienced working with metal roofing, were back on Saturday to fix any boards and paper the house and recovered it. Monday morning started the installation of the new roof once the inspector signed off and they worked the next 3 days to finish up. The whole crew was courteous and hard working.
Any questions I had, Armando was more than happy to answer them and Warren was available by phone and checked in throughout the job. They finished on a Wednesday. 5 days and the roof was done. I have called with a couple of minor fixes, small scuffs on some tiles and they have been taken care of immediately and with absolutely no hesitation.
A new roof is a big decision and not a cheap one, we wanted someone who was going to do the highest quality work possible and not try and give us the run-​around, so to speak. Warren, Armando and JW Roofing met and surpassed that criteria.

I called JW Roofing today to take care of a minor roof repair for one of my client, who just bought a house here in Walnut. A lady answered right away and took down my number to say someone will contact me this afternoon to come check it out. Sure enough, Brian called around 3pm to say he is in the area. 30 minutes later he calls back to say a few pieces of the tile roof just needs to be pushed back in place and the rest of the roof looks good to him. Asked him any broken or cracked tiles and told me someone might have just maintained it the last 6 months so it’s in real good shape. I asked him how much I owe him, and was told this is really minor so he wouldn’t even bother charging me anything.
Can you believe it?! I called another roofer before contacting JW and they wanted $ 385 just to come out and take a look!
I know who I will recommend when my clients need a roofing job done. Fast and friendly!

We just had our home’s roof replaced — both the tiles and part of the wood which had been destroyed by termites. This is never a pleasurable undertaking, especially as expensive and intrusive replacing a roof can be. But I can’t recommend enough the prompt, thorough, and quality service Warren Cross and his workers provided. He estimated no longer than 5 days but his crew was completed in 2 (still doing a great job). And the workers were on time, considerate, and cleaned up so well it was hard to tell the roof was being worked on. And the price was very reasonable as well. Their service was exceptional — we will definitely be using them again.

Hired these guys to do my roof, and I’m happy with service and the quality of work. The salesman is very knowledgeable and punctual. I would use them again for any roofing needs.
