So I’ve been taking my sons here for a couple of years but recently they’ve had change of owner and employees. Idk why I keep coming here because they never listen to what I ask them to do for the boys. Today probably was the worst day since this barber didn’t hear shit I asked. I asked for zero on the sides, medium fade and a little longer on top. He did the zero alright but all the way up his head! He now has a military buzz cut which is NOT what I asked for!!! Piss me off. Hair does grow back, yes indeed, but your profession is to LISTEN to what the customer wants not what you think is gonna look good! Or maybe it’s because that’s all he knows!!! I don’t even know his name cuz I don’t wanna have eye contact with him before I say something more. My other son is getting a cut from the lady here who’s done him before… So I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Next time and future cuts for the boys, I’ll be going back to Frankie’s down the street. They have young barbers who know what’s up. Bye boulevard barbers!!!

Simply put, I would not recommend going there. I do however, suggest making a trip to the next door liquor store where $ 30 will be of much greater use.

The previous owner was better I no longer go to this place, I went there early in the morning the guy seemed more interested on finishing his coffee & on the news on tv, then he went to the bathroom & stay there for a long time the guy that was there before me, he grabbed his jacket & left I stay because I needed the haircut big time, & I didn’t know he was going to take that long in the bathroom, I was a customer there for like 9 or 10 years, time to find an other place.

Customer service: the lady that cut my 10 year old hair was very friendly, great customer service. She has so much patience and took her time ensuring it is nice and even. She even help trimmed my little girl’s bang free of charge, after I told her, her hair was messed up by a previous person. Such a sweet lady. Parking: tons, perhaps it was early at 7:30 am Pricing: 8 bucks plus 3 bucks tips Décor: nice and clean, nice wood or laminated wood flooring, 2 plasma tv, no torn chairs. The waiting area is very comfortable. Definitely will come back again. Gonna be kids new go to hair cut place. The other guy gave my children apples and oranges, perhaps he’s the owner. I have no idea. But my kids love it. kids happy, mommy happy.

Under new ownership! All the original barbers are gone! For reason! Customer service sucks!

For the price they do a great job. But I only come 6am to 9am when the owner is working. Other then that everyone else is not very nice and they do not do as a good a job. I bring my son and my father as well. Have been coming since the new owner has been here.

Price has jumped up to $ 8 for non seniors, which is still cheaper than most places. I think some places in La Puente may be $ 6 still, but it’s not worth the drive to save $ 2

Very friendly, great cut. Good experience just like you would expect in a small barber shop.

Ultimate rudeness, friend and I went this barber shop recently and I’ve come this place on and off for a long time but just found the barber was rude to my friend and telling him that he was done with customers and not announcing his last customer was the guy b4 him. He did take after him after all, but a customer is a customer. This will probably be my last time coming here.

No longer what it used to be. I used to come here for the personal service. This establishment has changed owners and barbers. It’s now cold and indifferent to is customers. I won’t be coming back again

You can have simple haircut like military style. Or just shave ur head ! Other than that your hairs might be uneven ! What you pay is what you get. And moreover all things he uses are not cleaned so watch out!

I wasn’t blown away, but for six bucks and a decent cut you really can’t complain. I had a lady cut my hair and she did a fine job. There was no line ahead of me so I was in and out fast.

Frank had an open heart surgery and is no longer working there. Al is the only one cutting hair. It’s not a fancy place or very professional but for a $ 6 haircut, it’s a great deal.

Went there during lunch on a Friday. There were three people before me, and only one barber was available. He was able to get through the cuts in about 5 – 10 minutes, so I didn’t end up waiting very long. I didn’t give him a very precise description of what I wanted, but he was able to work with it anyway. Ended up with a clean cut that I can’t complain about. Tipped a bit because the stories were actually pretty fun to listen to! Overall it’s a nice and laid back place to get cheap and simple cuts. Definitely would recommend.

If you want a haircut that requires a bacterial dip and a tetanus shot, then this is your place. These guys could be the Michelangelo’s of Hair but they couldn’t use a broom if there life depended on it. Who wants to get a haircut in a place where the floor looks like it is made of fur. Yech. Yech. Yech!!! The Health Dept really needs to close this place down.

$ 6 haircuts, could go wrong, but the 2 older, and very experienced, barbers are far less than sub par. Definitely going back, it’s alittle hidden due to the shopping center.

I’ve been going to Frank and Al since I was in junior high. For a $ 6 price-tag, I get good conversations, personal care, and a great haircut. I tend to go with Frank as he tends to be more even in his fades, and takes more time(pays more attention to detail). If you want a nice quick cut with a couple jokes thrown in, go with Al. Although I do not live in the area anymore, I find myself wanting to go back to my hometown barber shop. Wish they were open on Mondays, my day off!

THEHAIRCUTSHERECOSTSIXDOLLARS!!! NEED I SAYMORE?! No…I don’t. But I will… just because the two dudes that work here are super cool, normal dudes… ALWAYS greet you warmly when you walk in, ALWAYS have the daily newspaper plus a cool selection of magazines, ALWAYS clip my oversized mop to my specifications and ALWAYS have some good conversation for me. SO… gentlemen, hand over those hard earned $ 6 here and skip the overpriced low quality SHTupercuts and Fauxtastic Sam’s…support your local businesses and stick it to «the MAN» I always give these dudes an Alexander Hamilton AND I’m still saving money compared to those corporate bullsh*t chains!
