This time I wasn’t pleased. My nails are ok and the designer was rude. I won’t go back.

This is my go to nail salon. The people are always friendly. I always hear the customers laughing conversing with their technicians. I give five stars because I’ve never had an issue. I don’t know what it is about today, but it’s extra relaxing. I’m having a hard time staying awake. Experiencing euphoria. Just lovely. :)

They are so rude it’s unreal, then they try to over charge you on the service. Never again.

The techs at RUBYNAILS on SECURITYBLVD are disgusting. I walked in requesting the eyelash extensions. I was directed to the back of the store to a small room. The tech entered behind me. I asked her if the glue used is latex free because I am allergic to latex and I have had eye infections and break outs in the past due to the latex in the adhesive. I was told ‚“YES”. I asked to see the bottle to read it for myself because once again I was told one thing and another was discovered. The tech went for the bottle and returned with it. I examined the bottle looking for the words«LATEXFREE». I then said to the tech,“please show me where it says latex free”. The tech got loud saying, «you ask to see glue that is the one we use». «You want eyelash or no’? I reiterated I needed latex free adhesive. She told me that’s all they use. I said ok no problem I have my own and I pulled it from my purse. I stopped at the Rite Aide and purchased the latex free glue prior. The tech then tells me there is no guaruntee how long the lashes will last because I wasn’t using their glue. I told her I would take my chances using the latex free glue. She ask me to lay back and then left the room. I changed the towel my head would be laying on and reclined waiting for her to return. I saw her enter in a room and close the door. After a minute I hear the toilet flush and she exits the room which I now know to be the bathroom. She entered the room where I was reclined waiting and grab some cotton and dapped it with some liquid and sat at the head of the table where I am nolonger laying on. I say to her are you not going to wash your hands or wear gloves? She says she washed her hands, I asked her when did she wash them because I didnt hear any water running and the door to the bathroom opened immediately after flushing? She started yelling she washed she washed, I told her ok well here use this hand sanitizer I pulled from my bag. She refused and walked out talking in her native tongue. I sat there for about five minutes thinking this must be some kind of joke waiting for her to return. She never returned. I exited the room and found her sitting up front talking to the other techs and them laughing. I told everyone there she used the bathroom and didn’t wash her hands and wanted to put her hands in my face. The other techs just laughed and she walked away saying I was too picky. Huh?!! Too picky because I didn’t want her pum pum hands in my face?! I think not.
