luca tony’s Pizzeria is about quality, convenience, and enjoying the Northeast’s distinctive Italian fare pacifically form Trieste. In the mid-1990’s two East Coast transplants, luca maldeni from Boston, and tony from New York decided to do something about their mutual longing for the style of pizza they’d grown up with, and set out on a quest to learn the secrets that made pies from the famous pizzerias of New York, Boston, and Connecticut so distinctively delicious. they came up with a special pizza sauce.

I love this place. The pizza’s pretty good but for me, it’s all about the wings. Getting wings delivered is usually not that great but Luca Tony’s does it right. Their sauces are perfect, and they have a lot of choices. They always deliver quickly and I always ask them to cook my wings well done, which they listen to perfectly every time. The sauce on their pizza (and for their mozzarella sticks and other apps) is great too. Another one of my favs is the sausage parm. They grill their sausages nice and dark and juicy, and you can’t do any better for the price point.

I am on the search for a great burger place that delivers in my area. I ordered thru grubhub and ordering was very easy. I was quoted 45 min for delivery which was no problem. But I didn’t receive my order until 1hr & 38 min later. The driver didn’t want to come to my front door & wanted me to come around to my garage (REALLY). The curly fries looked amazing but were very cold & soggy. My burger was cold & tasted like a hockey puck (I think it was a frozen patty & not a handmade fresh meat one) I do want to let you know that I did order it well done but you can still have a delicious well done burger. My husbands burger was cold as well & he ordered medium but it was cooked how a well done burger should be. I gave them 2 stars because they did get the order correct with no cheese on one burger and all condiments on the side for my burger. So I would try to order from here again but for pizza, NOT burgers. I am still on the search.

I usually order pizza from this place because it’s cheap and they minimum delivery is $ 8. The pizza is not bad. However I would stay away from everything else. I am giving them 2 stars because twice in a row they sent me spoiled food. I ordered a Greek salad and the feta was clearly bad and the grape leaves tasted like mold. I had to throw the whole thing away. Against my better judgement, I ordered from there again because my boyfriend loves their pizza. I ordered a pizza and an Italian sandwich for myself. Again, it was spoiled. The salami on the sandwich was so putrid, I had to spit it out. When I opened up the sandwich I saw the salami was a greenish grey color. This time I immediately called the restaurant to tell them their meat was bad and to throw it away instead of poisoning people!
Instead, I recommend Sal’s on bergenline or Prestos on 60^th.

I only order online from this pizzeria, so my review only supports the delivered food and not their in-house dining. Hands down, this place serves the best pizza I have had in a long time at an affordable price. Their delivery service is prompt and their pizzas are freshly made and taste really good. I love their Buffalo Chicken Pie pizza and their pasta selection. My wife and I enjoy ordering from this place almost every week.

I have walked past this place a few times and tonight I decided to finally try it. I placed an order for pick up tonight. It was a very simple order, two slices both well done, a piece of cheesecake and garlic knots.
I sent my boyfriend to go pick it up.
When I finally got the food I was actually amazed how HUGE these two slices were! They were literally the size of two and a half «regular» slices.
The pizza was not well done which I asked for it to be… not even close… this was a disappointment. The pizza in general wasn’t too bad, but I have had much better. However, the price for the size you can’t beat.
The garlic knots were decent and large… the sauce they came with though was absolutely horrible. Ridiculously cheap. The cheesecake was also a disappointment as well.
Personally I would only come back for their super large inexpensive pizza slices, but that’s about it.

Waited an hour and 40 mins for delivery. The meat lasagna tasted freezer burnt, the wings were soggy and the chicken cheesesteak was beef.
Will never order from this place again!

Unfortunately, this place is terrible. Just ordered a Margherita and it’s basically a cheese pizza with tomatoes on it (see picture on Unilocal). It tastes pretty bad.
However the sides are good. so I’d you’re looking for fries or fried pickles this is a decent option

I will just explain what actually happened… I will refrain from all emotion behind it :)
So we ordered a large pie Monday night, 7:45pm. It’s August, so no Monday night Football. It’s not a weekend night, it’s a Monday. 8:45pm, I called to check on the order status since it had not arrived yet. I was told Jorge was on his way, 3 – 4 min away. Great. 9pm, I called again… asking what happened to 3 – 4 minutes. Sorry, 10 more minutes. 9:25pm I called again — come to find out they never actually made our order, and it wasn’t coming. I told them to cancel the order and we would not accept any delivery. 9:35pm, a woman calls saying she is lost in North Begen trying to find us. We don’t even live in North Bergen and No Thank You! Worst experience ever, never again.

I ordered once to try their Sampler and a pasta dish, and boy was that a mistake — all the dishes were sooo salty! The Sampler was just badly done, mostly from the freezer, and the chicken pasta dish had pasta that was soggy. Never ordering from here again — I’m sticking with Antonio’s instead.

I’m giving this place 5 stars for the 16“pie only… My wife’s from brooklyn and this is her fav pizza. Everyone in my house loves this pizza. The weird thing is the 18 inch pie isn’t the same, it’s thin crust. I tried calling and speaking to someone about getting a larger pie made the same way, no bueno. Customer service wasn’t too great. But the 16″ pie deserves my 5 stars.
This is a one of a kind Unilocal review, only because I was very surprised how good the 16″ pie was.
Hopefully the owners get to read this review and improve the other pizza sizes and maybe get someone English speaking on the phone… The owner was a bit mean once when we called inquiring about the regular pie, because we decided to order the 18 inch once, but wanted it made the same way as the 16 inch. Lack of communication I guess. From my gues the dough is precut so depending on the size of the pie, they dictate whether it’s thin or regular.
Crazy how one pie could keep us coming back. Tastes good.

I ordered for delivery. The person at the phone was very nice and understood my ordered exactly how I ordered it. He was responsible enough to tell me they were very busy and the delivery will take 30 – 45 mins. And so it did. I ordered exactly at 9:00pm and got my food at 9:40.
I ordered buffalo burger no vegetables, well done, with curly fries. I like the buffalo taste of the burger but I felt that the patty wasnt very fresh. But still tasted good.
Also I ordered for my sister a chicken cheesesteak no vegetables with ham. The sandwich wasnt bad but Ive had better. She did find onions on the chicken but it wasnt a big deal.
Im giving them 4 stars because I believe that service matters and when you give great customer service that has to b rewarded.

Just had lunch here and had a wonderful experience. The server was very attentive and very polite. We ordered a slice with extra cheese and it did not disappoint. We also ordered Bruchettas which were delicious. The bread was fresh and it had the right balance of ingredients to give the Bruchettas a great taste.

This place is horrible. Not even close to true Italian cuisine. I ordered a simple (C9) Mozzarella, basil, sundried tomatoes and roasted peppers through GrubHub. I received a sandwich with only Mozzarella 50 minutes later. The slices were grocery deli thin — not what you expect from an Italian eatery. I called GrubHub and they said it was taken care of, that the restaurant would deliver the missing ingredients within 20 minutes.
I wait 40 minutes and check my email to call someone — not only did they not deliver my missing ingredients, they charged me an additional $ 6 dollars for ingredients that were a part of the original sandwich … I immediately informed GrubHub who said they would call me back. They called me back saying — in not so many words– that the restaurant Luca Tony’s told them to go «bleep».
Thank god that GrubHub refunded my entire order but that did not help my hungry pregnant wife.
My advice — try Sal’s deli or Piccolo’s or even Nova Pizza… And STAY AWAY from this clear backyard deli!!!

I’ve dined in and ordered delivery here a dozen times and been very satisfied. The cheese pizza isn’t the best I’ve had but is still a solid New York style pie. A couple times on delivery it did come cold and a little too cheesy. I’ve also had a few of the cold sub’s that were very good. The meats, cheese and bread have always been fresh and decent proportions. Delivery was aways very prompt. Its definitely one of our favorite pizza shops in town…
