Cook in our fully equipped kitchens. Watch the hummingbirds feed and see the deer roaming just footsteps from your door. If you want to unwind, this is the place to do it. Situated on 10 acres, the Cottages at Willow Pond is a wonderful getaway. The four private cottages can be found just a few minutes from Guthrie, Oklahoma.

History

Established in 2014.

We have been preparing to launch this business for 10 years. Following successful careers as consultants, educators, professors, and business executives we have chosen to enjoy serving our friends and guests in the hospitality industry. During our planning we saw a need to be both luxurious and affordable so we chose to follow the Dave Ramsey plan in order to open the business without debt. The result has been a labor of love, the cottages were designed by Caroline, hand built by Lloyd and then decorated by Caroline.

We want you to imagine yourself living in the late 19^th or early 20^th century as you relax in a cottage at Willow Pond for two evenings. Learn some history of this magnificent town while riding in a Trolley. See the architure of several historical homes.

Strolling down the shop lined streets of the old town magically transports you to another century. Turn off the cell phone and allow yourself to revel in the simple pleasures of a time less complicated.

Business Owner

Lloyd and Caroline have been preparing to launch this business for 10 years. Following successful careers as consultants, educators, professors, and business executives Drs. Lloyd and Caroline have chosen to enjoy serving their friends and guests in the hospitality industry.

During their planning they saw a need to be both luxurious and affordable so they chose to follow the Dave Ramsey plan in order to open the business without debt. The result has been a labor of love, the cottages were designed by Caroline, hand built by Lloyd and then decorated by Caroline.

Dr. Caroline is a classically trained musician, a sought after singer, an excellent pastry chef, cake baker and caterer, a published author, and a scrapbooker, crafter, a talented artist and floral arranger.

Dr. Lloyd is a renaissance man, a licensed Christian minister, a leadership and school improvement consultant, a published author, a member of MENSA, a builder, and an accomplished chef.

They have five adult children.
