History
Established in 1962.
The Point was first opened in the 60’s and was mostly a truck stop, open 24 hrs with a counter and a handful of stools. There have been a few additions. and owners since then, with the latest acquiring the restaurant in late 2009.
Since November 2009, our goal was to make a breakfast place that rivaled many of the best in Lake County, and beyond… without breaking the bank! It didn’t take long for the hard work, and our philosophy that a restaurant can never be too clean, along with the ‘no-brainers’ — good, honest food at a fair price and the best service possible… will be noticed.
We are grateful to our customers and thank them for a large part of our success, who told their friends, who told their friends. and so on! In addition, I am so very lucky having the best staff in the business. They make ‘The Point’ every single day!
