Specialties
Riding lessons (English only) on our seasoned school horses or on your own horse. We do NOT offer trail rides; however, we do have 12 miles of double fenced bridle trail through 600 acres for the exclusive use of horse owners boarding a horse at our facility.
Easy drive from Chicago or the North Shore via I94 (exit at Route 132 West) or Route 41 (exit at Stearns School Road). Just 15 minutes north of Lake Forest.
Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Shows, both USEF recognized and schooling shows, are hosted at the facility every month. See the «Events» page on our website for dates. Spectators are welcome!
Boarding is available in our state-of-the-art facility with TWO indoor riding arenas, FOUR outdoor riding arenas and a turf hunt field. Over 9,000 square feet of heated/air conditioned viewing areas.

History
Established in 1995.
Fields & Fences is part of the exclusive horse community of Hunt Club Farms Subdivision. Originally established in 1985 by the Developer of Hunt Club Farms Subdivision, the stable was purchased in 1995 from the Developer by the current owner, Anita Schadeck. Over the past 20 years, the stable has under gone several construction projects enlarging the facility to 114 permanent 10′ x 12′ stalls, 2 indoor arenas, 4 outdoor arenas, 6 tack rooms, 7 heated wash racks, 8 grooming stalls, and over 9,000 square feet of heated/air conditioned club rooms.
