We had an anniversary dinner at Six Tables, and it was just what we were looking for. Fine dining, very good service(from the owner/innkeeper herself), and well-paced. A seared scallop appetizer was delicious, and I enjoyed the caesar salad. The sparkling wine included with the dinner was quite nice. I had Chilean sea bass, which was cooked perfectly, and my spouse had canard a l’orange, which was very tasty, although the sauce on both was a little too sweet. The Meyer lemon sorbet between courses was a nice touch. A cheese and fruit plate served with port preceded profiteroles with a flambeed fruit sauce. All in all a very pleasant meal, particularly since we’ve had a hard time finding similar experiences in the area.

My husband and I have eaten at the Peninsula Inn several times in the past few years, and have always enjoyed our experience. I only wish we lived closer so that we could dine there more often. They have an excellent young chef who always aims to please, and doesn’t hesitate to pay your table a visit. I’m sure that if he had the ingredients there isn’t anything he couldn’t make. The Inn is charming and the owners are the perfect hosts. Anyone living in Florida should make a trip to Gulfport and enjoy the hospitality of the Inn. They won’t be disappointed.

Been to this place twice now. If you can manage to go on a night with Dale Williams, you won’t be disappointed. The ambiance is thick with old Florida charm. The food was great the first time we went, and good the second time. Service is… there, mostly. Definitely sit outside if you can. Kick back and enjoy a cool Spring night with some friends. It’s unique to an era past, and that’s what will bring people back.
