Sidelines Sports Bar & Restaurant

Great for a sports bar. Love the outside area. wish we could have been able to watch the game on the patio. Fiancé got the Blackened grouper sandwich was HUGE and delicious! I got French dip, which was also like two meals in one. Fries were cold :(but meal was great. Beers were good it was 16 $ for a pitcher.

I had dinner here last night because it was recommended by one of the locals. He told me they have the best wings he has ever had. I’m a big wing fan, so I thought I would give it a try. I was very impressed with the casual
Atmosphere. It was very busy, and it’s every bit of a sports bar. Although this is not my preferred atmosphere usually, I enjoyed the food and good service. I ordered the wings crispy and hot, and they were just what you’d want in a wing. I also had the Caribbean chicken sandwich, which was one of the best sandwiches I have had in recent memory. I’m giving this place 4 stars because it genuinely surprised me with quality. Basically, the ingredients of the Caribbean blackened chicken sandwich were amazingly good. Come here for a cold beer and some above-​average bar food and a game.

This place was just what we needed after a long car ride. We asked the hotel clerk some good spots to checkout and this one fit the bill. One of us loves seafood and the other does not.
We walked into a packed house. I was thinking for sure there was going to be a wait. We didn’t mind sitting outside so we were sat right away. The table would have seated 6, yet they used it to seat 2. No big deal.
The usual sports bar feel. Lots of TVs. Service was quick, and friendly. Food was great. I could get seafood. The menu was pretty diverse for being a sports bar. All in all a pleasant experience. Being one of the only places like it around our hotel we will probably go back tomorrow!

Initially was turned off by their lack of vegan/​vegetarian options and opted with one of few choices, the Cajun boca burger, and was elated with how good it was. best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Wish I could go here more often but I am here on vacation so sadly I cannot frequent.

Had the French Dip and fries. not enough meat and au ju way to salty (open the salt container and dip, too salty). Fries were good. Honey had hot wings and said they were good even though he couldn’t feel his lips lol. Good for bar food but next time I will have the club. can’t screw up a club, right?

Thank you, Eric, for helping me with my craving for Shrimp Salad! Although Sidelines offers a «Shrimp Salad», it is sans chopped veggies, cajun seasoning & mayo — which is where ‘my way’ comes into play. Eric, our server, brought me the Blackened Grilled Shrimp appetizer, some celery & onion with a side salad. By dicing the shrimp, the veggies from the salad (cucumber & carrots), the onion & celery, I had the basics — to which I added a bit of Hellman’s Mayo. Wonderful ingredients + an over-​the-​top server made for an AMAZING Blackened Shrimp Salad @ Sidelines Sports Bar & Restaurant!

Locals favorite! The best food, service and value you will find on the beach or surrounding area. Love love this place.

If you are looking for a casual American restaurant, this is one of the best on the island they have weekday specials. We had the wings on special and the Cajun burger. Both were very good! I would come back here again. Our server was also very friendly!

Sports bar with excellent food. Awesome atmosphere for drinking and enjoying sports or just having a relaxing family dinner.
Had the hamburger and chicken strips. The French fries were my favorite though!
I tried the hottest sauce they had, but it wasn’t very hot… I like extremely hot things and it didn’t have much heat to it.
All together a great dining experience and would highly recommend it.

such amazing customer services! not only from the works but the managers were so welcoming and understanding when I ordered the wrong thing. and even gave me an extra fish without charge! I went twice here to eat in my 4 day vacation at Pensacola. that’s how good they were! recommend the biggest catch, best fish ever.

We’ve been here many times over the years and always found it to have great service, very good food and a nice comfort level.
This trip was for Wings Night at the tail of Happy Hour. Our server was helpful and quick. Wings were perfect. Prices were more than fair.
This is a must-​stop on Pensacola Beach for fish sandwiches, shrimp and anything else you want. They serve groups and families with ease.

Busy place! The food was really really good. Wings were awesome. Tender burger. Waitress wasn’t overly friendly. I could hear the staff complaining about a girl who was trying to call in and needed her shift covered. The great food made up for it tho!

They’re advertised as the best hot wings on the gulf. That’s a high praise dont cha think!!! I ordered hot. I usually get lemon pepper sprinkled on top, but they didn’t have that ingredient. So regular hot wings they were! I must admit the wings were a nice size and the hot sauce hit me when she set the plate down.
They were good and actually hot, not that wimpy almost hot crap. I’ve had better though, so if they’re the best, I’ll say stick to seafood if you’re going to Pensacola Beach.

On a recent trip to Pensacola Beach we came here after I did a Unilocal search for Hamburgers. I asked the bartender where we were drinking at the time for her opinion and she said it was the best place to get a burger on the island, BUT, since it was Thursday, it was «Wing Night» and there would be a big crowd. She was right on both accounts, the burger was great and the wait was long, but it was worth it!
Pro Tip: Don’t be scared by the long wait. Get your name on the list and with your buzzer in hand take a walk around the neighborhood, either to the beach or to some of the cute shops just across the highway.
Once we got a table, 45 minutes later, we ordered a dozen Hot Wings to start (45 cents each on Thursday!). They were GREAT, I’d go back for more even at full price! Then we split a cheese burger which was perfectly cooked! (and since it was my birthday) I got a slice of Key Lime Pie, which was divine!
Oh yeah, if ya wanna watch a game, it is probably on here. They had more than a dozen different sports channels on, I didn’t know they had that many sports channels… shows ya what I know.
