The girl that helped me today was horrible unfriendly annoyed that I was there to spend money evidently even tho I was the only one there I have never had worse service and I will not be back unless she is fired but I doubt she’s fit to work anywhere else at least I got my nose ring

Had a very unpleasant shopping experience. Employee Amanda was very unprofessional on all levels. Brought up unrelated matters and ended up knowingly charging me 3 dollars extra from my 15 dollar purchase. Called manager and he was very unprofessional as well. Never got my money back. And am never going back.

This shop has everything you can ask for, however the items are really overpriced. Im from NYC so I was really shocked at the prices compared to where I’m from. However, they did have a large selection of goods.

The people who work at Sunshine are helpful and friendly! Such a cute little shop inside(don’t be fooled by the outside) and has everything you want/need from a local head shop. My only reason for giving 4 stars is because it is pretty overpriced for certain pieces in the store. However, I think there are two reasons for that… 1. There are no competitors in the shoreline area, and 2. It’s a small shop on the shoreline(a lot are overpriced). Otherwise it’s a great place!

I remember the little red shack adjoined to the antique store before it burned to the ground. I thought Sunshine Daydream was finished. Lo and behold, they opened in a building next to the Car Care Clinic and then eventually moved to a little purple house where it sits today. I’ve only ever been to Haight-Ashbury once in my life, in 1991, not in 1967. But Sunshine Daydream is exactly the kind of store I’d expect to find on the Haight in ’67. It’s a very groovy store, selling all kinds of incense, books, novelties, etc… It’s sort of a hippy’s version of Spencer’s Gifts, without going overboard with pricey branded garbage like so many other shops of its caliber have. The people here are pleasant, unassuming, and attentive. If the other reviewer had a bad experience over the phone, it’s likely because a) competitors call to try and undercut their price and/or b) they receive harrassing phone calls from people not«hip» to the lifestyle. How would you reply if someone called you up to get a price on a water pipe?

went here a couple days ago to look around a pick up some incense. the staff was knowledgable and friendly, although like other reviewers wrote, the prices on some items are a bit high. That being said, I ended up buying a hookah pen, got home, tried it out… it stopped working after a few puffs. Went back and they replaced it, no questions asked. I’ll be here again!

I love sunshine daydream. They have a large selection for such a small little house. I never leave this place empty handed. * Some items are a bit expensive.

Sunshine is a great local headshop fro the Shoreline area. They have a pretty nice collection of glass, plenty of reasonably priced pieces. Some of their stuff can be a bit expensive such as their hookahs but overall the prices aren’t terrible. As the other review noted the staff is always helpful. It’s way up Route 1 in North Guilford so it’s a bit of a drive from downtown Guilford but it’s worth the trip if you’re looking for a great small headshop.

Small and personal, this little cottage in Guilford has been turned into a groovy time machine, bringing you back to the days of patchouli and The Grateful Dead. Just as any headshop, prices are a little on the high side, and the selection is a bit small. However, it is a nice little ride out there, and the staff is super friendly. Its a good one to add to your list of places to get Nag Champa.
