David Mayhew has been selling residential real estate in the Greater New Haven and Connecticut Shoreline areas for Pearce Real Estate since 2006. For the most recent calendar year, 2014, he is once again in the Pearce Real Estate President’s Circle, placing him among the Top 10 Realtors company-wide for sales volume. He has been named a Five Star Realtor in Connecticut Magazine in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and again in 2015 (five years out of a possible five years) placing him in the top 6% of realtors statewide based on customer satisfaction surveys.

Business Owner
Prior to joining Pearce Real Estate, David spent 30 years in marketing and public relations, primarily for performing and visual arts organizations, including publicizing Broadway plays and musicals, dance companies, and museums. In addition to his current work in residential real estate sales, he continues to provide marketing and public relations services for the performing arts through his company, David Mayhew Communications, which he established nearly 15 years ago.
Area clients have included Long Wharf Theatre and the International Festival of Arts & Ideas in New Haven, as well as the legendary Westport Country Playhouse during its renovation under the leadership of film star Joanne Woodward.
Community activities include more than 20 years as a volunteer for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D), recording textbooks for students and teachers who are blind and visually impaired. David served for several years on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Unit of RFB&D.
