Tutta Bella Salon

This is for a phone call I made about an hour ago. I’m on Unilocal and looked up massage (because I may be a massage therapist and Esthetician but I don’t have people that Work on me and it’s something I need to invest in) Self care. Ans I want to support my industry. and this place came up. Called and asked if they did facials AND massage. She said they do facials but it takes about two months to get in. I said «oh». She didn’t offer to look up a future date, which would have been helpful. Instead she said «yah sorry» and hung up on me. So… I won’t be trying them again for anything. Plus what they offer on Unilocal isn’t what they actually offer. I say just book somewhere else. Shame, because they are close to where I live and I was thinking hair cut, color, facial, massage, mani pedi place near me?!! Nope. I’ll go elsewhere.

I called them today asking questions on hair color and tried to make and appointment, they laughed at me for asking if they can fit me in today (I work 6 days a week caring for disabled children so I have like 0 time for me) they told me «nice try «I was going to throw down about 200 bucks for my hair and to be pampered but I guess I won’t here…

Michele Motta is the most amazing stylist ever!!! Seriously, she has changed my life! I absolutely adore my hair, the cut and color, and everyone else I come across loves it too! I went from super long to short on Nov 16^th and everyone who sees my hair thinks it’s absolutely awesome! I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am! If you can’t get into to see Michele then I totally recommend Celeste who is equally as talented and amazing! Btw Monday is the day to see the dynamic duo.

I have had facials from Heather Porter before, but something was different when I had a facial on July 10. I felt that Heather spent more time with me and her magic fingers did wonders. Maybe it was my mood or simply that I was in a place to let her work her magic. But in all the years I’ve been going to Heather, this was definitely the most wonderful experience of all. I glowed inside and out for long after the facial. Thank you Heather.

This salon is very clean and inviting. Everyone I have encountered here has been very nice and very professional.
Dana has been doing my hair for 13 years. She’s the only one I trust with my locks. She’s amazing at what she does so when she moved to this salon of course I followed! She does amazing work and I am constantly stopped by strangers asking who does my hair. Highly recommend her.

I can’t believe that I have been going to this salon for this many years, and I haven’t given it a review yet!
This review is specific though, for Rheka Denney, my stylist for almost 10 years, who I followed when she left The Bladerunner (which I also love). Rheka is a color miracle worker. I have NEVER been disappointed. She is professional, has raised her rate maybe once since I started going to her? (After a substantial cut in rate when she left the other salon) She has also done my 5 year old’s hair her entire life, and takes such good care knowing Olivia wants to grow out her hair. She also did my husband’s hair for years, although now that we are in LA, he has to go local.
Me, however, I will travel to AG whenever possible to get my hair cut and colored– I’m pretty sure that I have gone every 6 – 8 weeks for all these years. Also — another plus, every time I have a special occasion, she does a fantastic blow dry and style for me. Makes it so easy on those hectic days. Love you Rheka!
One note to the salon: There is a sign that says CLOSED mondays. Closed is in large print, and mondays in small, and it looks like the salon’s closed sign is up– throws me for a loop EVERY TIME! So no, they aren’t closed :)

New to the area. Called and made an appointment and was told 4:45 with Dana… arrived and was told I was wrong it was 4:15. All I got was a less than meaningful «sorry» not even an offer to reschedule or squeeze me in with someone else… I’ll take my business elsewhere. With a 2 month old and the preparations required for leaving the house, I don’t have time to waste on a business that can’t keep their scheduling straight especially when their attitude is my error even though I explicitly wrote down 4:45. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Don’t waste your time at this salon.

Love this salon! I went in here for a change in my hair so I go inside and the receptionist was kind enough to get a stylist to talk to me about what I wanted (the stylist was Kim). She knew what I was talking about and was able to set an appointment for me with Danyell. Danyell did a fantastic job with my hair and I never loved it so much! She handled it with care and wanted my subtle highlights to look perfect and they were beyond! Overall the ladies here are so awesome and super nice!

Great Cut and Blowout.
I was visiting the area for a wedding and was originally looking for a blow-​out salon, but since there were none in the area, I found Tutta Bella on Unilocal and decided to add a light trim as well.
I was given an appointment with Katie. I went in with straight hair and informed her my hair is naturally very curl. She gave me a consultation before and after the wash (wash was excellent, long and soothing). Very nice stylist and gave a nice blowout and cut!
$ 50 for cut and blowout.

This place is amazing or should I say Danyell Cuevas who does my hair is. She is very flexible and does a fantastic job. I have gone from blonde to brown to blonde again and great every time. I have frizzy hair and she makes it look great with every cut. Love love love her. She also did my daughters first haircut when she was 6mo old and was fantastic

Tutta Bella is the place to go in Pismo for a facial, manicure, or an amazing cut and color. My favorite stylist is Ashley Bozeman but I haven’t seen a bad haircut walk out the doors of this beautiful & professional place.

This place is amazing I love my hair stylist Monica Wilson. She’s great and knows how to do exactly what you want ! Prices are great and all the girls that work there are nice. I love that I always get asked if if like something to drink.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The girls are very friendly and sweet, timely about greeting me and getting me set up with my hair stylist. I’ve only had my hair done here, but still this place is amazing. I go with Ashley or Monica, I’ve been going to these gals since my early teens, so about 9 years. Love them! I haven’t had any other hair stylists here but the rest of them I know are amazing from what my friends have told me. I’m moving soon and sad I’m not going to have this place available. On my yearly trip back to cali I will be coming here!

I loved my first experience at Tutta Bella! My stylist, Danyell, was so patient with me and made sure I was very happy with the hair cut she gave me (which morphed from one thing to another before she was done). When she could tell I wasn’t sure about the look I had asked for she made recommendations on how it could look better with my face shape, bangs, and overall hair length. She had to re-​cut my hair 3 times before I loved the look and never once came off as irritated or annoyed. To round out everything she was a very pleasant person to be around. I booked another appointment with her before I left and I can’t wait to go back. Awesome job, Danyell! I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist.

I get my hair done at Tutta Bella by Ashley Bozeman. I love the salon and I love Ashley Bozeman. It is always a wonderful experience and my hair always looks great! Thank You so much!

My wife goes there a lot (hair, nails, etc) and says it’s the best salon she’s ever been to. I had my hair cut there once and it was friendly and professional.
Best salon in South County

When Tutta Bella Salon opened it’s doors in our area I couldn’t believe my eyes… it was a salon like those I had enjoyed living in Newport Beach during my ten years away from the Central Coast. I gave that type of full service salon with spa-​like atmosphere up when I decided to return — and I frankly thought I wouldn’t have a similar experience unless I returned to a more metropolitan area for services.
The owner of Tutta Bella has truly learned from her years in the business, providing clients with friendly support staff, a beautiful space with attention to the atmosphere, and let’s not forget the shampoo experts (those girls that actually massage your scalp and make your simple haircut like a little mini-​spa treat).
And yes, that is what sets this establishment apart — the «extras» so to speak. However, you can’t make a good salon great unless you have the experts to deliver the service. Monica Wilson has taken my oh-​so-​ordinary bob from so-​so to super-​cool with a razor-​sharp trendy style. She also guided me through the minefields of flat irons and assisted me with the best products — she’s a product guru. I now have the BEST deep conditioner, hairspray and finishing cream. Then, when I wanted to change it all up and go super-​long, she didn’t bat an eyelash, and has helped me through what can be a painful growing out experience with a professional and manageable-​looking long-​layered cut that my husband loves. She is professional, with reminder calls and her prices seem perfect to me – although I have the luxury of not needing color.
Next let me say that Heather Porter absolutely rescued me when stress made my normally unblemished skin EXPLODE before several important conferences I was attending in February. She used this magical blemish zapper (call her, she will explain — she’s the skin expert) and provided me with a sample of the most amazing mask that I can apply when I feel a large blemish blossoming — and like magic overnight it disappears! I have already purchased a gift certificate for an associate of mine and I look forward to a long relationship with Heather when my budget permits.
Lastly, when my regular manicurist and I have a «scheduling conflict», Kim Killingsworth does a fantastic job and I can’t even tell the difference. Plus she’s friendly, smart and professional. If she used my product regularly I would be tempted to move my business! Not to mention she offers these amazing «mini pedicures» that she can fit into a half-​hour — making it a perfect lunch time option. In fact… I think I might book one of those soon!
All-​in-​all, I can breathe a sigh of relief that at least one «big-​city» perk that I gave up moving back to the sleepy Central Coast has materialized after all. Thank you Tutta Bella owners, Monica, Kim, Heather and staff! You have definitely stepped the local Salon/​Spa experience up a notch!

Walked in for a cut and they were able to fit me in. I felt very welcomed right when I walked in. All the people that work their are very nice and genuine. I got a great cut for a great price.
I had got to 2 other salons (Synergy and Selinas) and they had no openings and were very rude. Tu Tu Bella Salon is the best.
