Course is really fun and for that price you can’t beat it !! Gentleman at the pro shop was generous and professional. I will golf this course any chance I can !

The course is well taken care of. The greens roll surprisingly true. The layout is your standard down and back with a few trees. Water is the major hazard. If the wind is blowing off the ocean go with a longer club and use a knock down shot. Parking is very good.

I come here every week to play golf! So much fun, great price and I like to end my round at fins with a drink and appetizer looking over the beach, it doesn’t get any better then that!

So… we’re in the area for a week’s getaway. We stop to go in the clubhouse to check on pricing and to make sure they don’t have any local engagements coming up the next day. I was told about the green fees and the fact that if you start after 1 p.m., the golf is unlimited. In fact, someone had made a basic computerized«poster» saying the same. What a great deal! We exchanged pleasantries and left to come back the next day. My wife and I got there about 1:45, I went in to pay, and a different man greeted me and said, «Two seniors with a cart — that’s $ 26.» «Great!» says I, and off we went, thoroughly enjoying the easy and relaxed nature of our surroundings(not a competitive course, by any means). We stop to take a quick potty-stop after nine holes and start to head back out. The man at the counter says, «All done?» I smiled and said that we were going to try another nine. He looked at me in all seriousness and started rubbing his fingers together in that universal $ sign. I reminded him that we started well after 1 p.m., thinking that this was just a simple mistake on his part. He said that the unlimited golf was only if you paid full price, not the senior rate. I pointed to the sign and noted the«After 1 p.m. — Unlimited Golf», to which he pointed at a different homemade poster confirming what he had just said. I suggested that they might want to either verbally express the rule or make a different sign that included both statements for clarification.(I’m sure he appreciated that. ;-) I then offered to pay the difference so we could get back out to playing. He said, «Nope. Gotta pay full price now.» I tried to reason with him, expecting some common courtesy for an out-of-towner, be had none of it. He even started to raise his voice… along with me. You be the judge — asshole… or just doing his job? Save yourself the headache of mediocrity(both with the course and its unfortunate employee) and head up the coast just a bit to Sea Pines. Much better experience all the way around. Thanks for listening… and letting me blow off some steam.

This s quick little 9 hole, right off the state beach in Pismo, its $ 12 or $ 13 to play, and its a great course. Scenic, flat, and not too difficult, you’ll see a lot of retiree’s here, and if you’re teaching a small child golf, this is an OK place to bring them to learn the course, as its often deserted and the holes are all 3 pars with only 1 having a significant water obstacle.

I really like his course. I’m a newby at golf & have been here 8 times or so. But the old men that are in the office running the place are always crabby and have a bad attitudes.

They do weddings here! Such a beautiful location – literally yards from the sand without paying an arm and a leg! Check out their website:

Decent little golf course. I had fun here with an array of challenging holes and a quick nice round of golf. It’s not a pristine course, but for cheap(I think my round was $ 11), you can have a nice 9-hole round of golf and a good way to spend the morning. Enjoyed it.

4 stars with a giant * No, it’s not a four star golf course in the sense that it’s a star removed from Pebble Beach. We’re talking a modest 9 hole, Par 3 course situated on the beach. For a mere 11 bucks, you can enjoy a round of golf while listening to the waves lap upon the beach. This place has been here forever, is very old school, which is the very reason I love playing here.

$ 12.50 — $ 13.50 to walk this 9-hole par 3 course. Not the strictest course rules around, lots of people play this course with sneakers and t-shirts. There’s also no marshal here so I’ve been stuck behind people that have played 2 – 3 balls on every hole. This is also not an extremely well maintained course, the greens are the worst around. They’re extremely bumpy so it doesn’t really matter if you read it and hit it right, it still may not go in. It’d be nicer if they rolled the greens once in a while. However, this relaxed atmosphere is an extremely great place for beginners to play.

I was bummed when I got here. They were having a men’s/ women’s golf tournament. So I couldn’t get on and play for another hour and a half. Tournament? In a pitch and putt? Lol. Oh well. Next time maybe. No driving range either. Avila here I come.

I really enjoyed playing this course for its range from short(100 yards) to long(210 yard) par 3s. It provided some good challenges with the water hazards. My favorite was the 7th hole. It played about 200 yards that day, which also required carrying a pond that ran diagonally across the fairway. I didn’t like the lack of signage directing one to the next hole. I could have easily gotten lost and played the wrong hole if I wasn’t paying attention to the map. Also, some of the yardage markers located in the tee boxes were incorrect, making some holes sound like they were closer than they really were. This is a great course for the intermediate beginner who’s already cut their teeth on pitch and putts and is looking to take a next step up in their golf game. This is also a great place to practice using your medium and long irons.

A great course for beginners or for those who have lost their power for whatever reason. A relatively short 9-hole par three course with distances ranging from 80 yards to 190 yards. There are decent lies off the green bolstered by a lack of sand. There is some form of a water hazard on all but two holes with two holes requiring you to carry off the tee. The only gripe comes with the sloooooooow greens. This is not a course to hone your putting skill. Great for iron play and off-green recovery, but not putting. Affordable prices, with unlimited play after 1pm. Can get windy as it is right on the beach. Play can get bogged down quite a bit on the weekends.
