Dempsey’s Fishing Guide Service

Three of us booked Dempsey’s for this past Friday and Saturday to white bass and spoonbill fish. On Friday a cold front had come through so we had to change over our gear ½ way through from white bass to spoonbill. Also, our guide for the day, Jim (assisted by his grandson Chase) called his wife and asked her to bring us warmer coats and pants since us three rookies were underdressed… very nice and helpful. That outing yielded 2 spoonbill and a mississippi white catfish.
Saturday our guides were Ray and Sharon, who own the business. They were both very communicative and very helpful in showing us how to cast, jerk the poles, and helping us take the best pictures of us holding our fish. It was harder to find the fish due to the cold front that had come in, but Ray found them. The day yielded 5 spoonbills. The two of them were awesome guides.
I definately recommend their service.
