Established in 2000.

Started as a Hobby in 1992 when Microsoft started windows 3.1. By 1995 I was building basic systems and doing general repair. In 1998 I renovated space in the home to provide service area for multiple units. In 1999 hired first Technician to come alone beside me and provide services. In 2000 leased 1800 foot store front Con​put​er​boy​.net. We currently Provide systems and services to the 4 state area and have 1000’s of Quality Custom Systems sold and do on average around 2500 Bench Services per year. Our new custom built systems come with a 3 year parts and labor warranty. We also sell Microsoft Re certified Laptops and Desktops. They come with a 1 year warranty.

I took my computer there for an update of windows software. Well, it turns out it was a pirated version, a few days after owning, I got an email from microsoft telling me I was in violation, and my service provider had been notified. Advice is don’t use, crooks.

I originally took my computer in to have the software looked at since it was really running slowly. In the process of the repair they lost my original power cord and replaced it with an aftermarket one (not a Gateway one, which is what type of computer I have). The only problem with this is that the cable’s connector was too big for the port and ended up breaking off inside the computer within days. Without the power cable I could not charge the batteries and it eventually left me with an unusable computer. I went back and they refused to take responsibility after promising they would on the phone! So I ended up having to buy a NEW computer since it is out of warranty.
Their «customer service» (wouldn’t really give them the benefit of calling it that… more like «customer disservice») is abysmal. Whatever happened to the customer being right and fixing the problems you create? The fact that they forced this cable in to the port is bad enough on its own but to try to deny responsibility is absolutely galling. I would NOT EVER recommend taking your computer in for repair there, unless, of course, you want to get it back in an unusable state and have to buy a new computer. They really do a GREAT job damaging computers! If this review were about their destruction of computers I would have to give them ten stars!
Who knew that taking a computer in for a simple software update would cost me almost a thousand dollars (for the new computer). As a final insult, they would not even refund the initial software update cost… guess that’s the price for doing business with people who have no business doing business.
Post Script: If I could give them negative numbers I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JOKERS. THEY WILL LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK AT YOUR EXPENSE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
