I have another restaurant on my list of «places I’ll never go again.» I haven’t been here in a while, we used to come occasionally. We decided to stop in for dinner and saw that they’ve changed their menu. It seems everything is deep fried, there wasn’t a single grilled chicken breast entrée on the menu. After going back and forth for ten minutes not finding anything, we decided to share an appetizer of chili cheese nachos and I got a side salad and my girlfriend got the potato soup. The salad and soup came out and all was good. About two minutes later, our nachos came out. There was not much of the chili and cheese and all that was on with it was a dollop of sour cream and some jalapeño. I expected more, but it was fine… Until I found the random bits of gross French fries and chips and other unknown items mixed in with our chips. That aside, it was just fine. I want to make a side note– there was a waitress walking around hacking up a lung and NOTCOVERINGHERMOUTH. Every. Single. Time. She walked past, she coughed and coughed. She went into the kitchen and coughed all over stuff. It was off putting and we couldn’t pay and get out of there fast enough!

Very poor service in Grove City. I usually like their food. O’Charley’s at Polaris(Northern Columbus) is very nice.

It seems like there was a change in management recently, which has been great. I have been a regular customer for years, and I stopped going a little while back. However, when I came in recently, both the experience and the food were great. I especially love their giant margaritas, and their mushrooms sauteed in garlic were to die for. I will definitely be back!

If I could give negative stars, I would. We moved here about 2 years ago. Up until about 8 months ago we would eat here a couple times a week. The food had gotten progressively worse so we stopped going. Tonight we decided to give it a try again. We both ordered the southwest chicken wedge salad. Took about 40 minutes for it to arrive, the chicken was cold and there was barely any dressing on them. About 10 minutes later the server(who was wonderful) brought us hot chicken. Still no dressing because they had to make more. While picking at my salad waiting for the dressing I found a bug in my salad! One of those that you find around vegetables and fruit. Absolutely disgusted and we will Never be back! I don’t care that the manager comped the meal, bottom line this should Not happen!

O’Charley’s…O’NO! Went there @ 5:15pm today at the request of friends in the area. Great, I thought, because I had seen commercials that they have new items on the menu. Table for 5 please…40 minute wait. Then we were seated in a booth more suited for 4… we’re grownups Ms. Hostess… no apology… and as we were told that was all that was available, I pointed to a table that had been cleared off. OKKKKK. Lucky me! Pouty mouth, fake smile re-seated us and flounced off. I gave one star because the ice teas and wine were cold’. Everything was downhill after that. Potato soups were less than lukewarm… felt almost like eating fundue with a spoon… and apparently the soup of the day, chicken noodle tasted as though it was out of a can… warm. Do they pre-fill the crock and have them sit until served? Prime Rib pasta… delicious with a slight spicy kick because of the horseradish… warm! Tilapia with asparagus side order. Fish was flat out burnt and crispy on the bottom. Gordon Ramsey would have been delighted to throw this into the garbage. My choice… the Nashville hot chicken(which only comes as a sandwich on a toasted brioche bun) was a freakin’ disaster. I discarded the bun which felt like it was day-old, was burnt on both surfaces and was twice the size of the lump of chicken… the chicken was sitting on what I think was some kind of slaw. AND… the chicken was cold… cold…cold!!! Epic mess! What is happening in this kitchen? We dared not complain… we just wanted to get out of there. It will be a while before we return, if ever!

If your a party of 5 or more. RUN from this place. was told 20min wait and its now been an hour! Plenty of turnover for parties of 4 or less. Lots of places to choose from. seriously not worth the wait or the LIES.

One more time — excellent and courteous service. Ordered the chicken strips with button mushroom and rice pilaf. Excellent combination! Loved it again. Now two times in a row.

Good food, combined with a good atmosphere. My drink was filled 4 times, and with a smile every time. The lunch crowd had the dining room ¾ full from noon to 1. And the manager stopped at the table, not to just ask how the meal was and leave, but for 2 or 3 minutes of quality chit chat!

Came for an early supper and was not disappointed. My expectations were very low when I ordered the 6 oz sirloin with garlic shrimp, loaded baked potato and baby green beans — but I am pleased to report that My expectations were very much exceeded. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, seasoned to flavorful perfection. The shrimp was covered in a buttery garlic sauce along with two crusty breadsticks cooked just right. Even the green beans were flavor fully seasoned. The baked potato was delicious as well — can’t go wrong with cheese, sour cream, butter bacon and chives! Husband had loaded baked potato soup which sadly was more like melted cheese soup with potatoes — way too rich and thick — seriously a lactose overload nightmare. But his Caesar chicken salad was pretty tasty despite the lack of croutons which would have made it stellar. We would come again for sure!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. lemonades came out and were made completely wrong, I order them every time, told my server that they were wrong she proceeded to ask me if I needed sugar for my lemonade and then after I said no they were made incorrectly she offered to get me another drink which I did. my food came out 20 minutes later than everyone else’s at my table it was also cold by the time it reach the table. my mom had ordered a Cobb salad it came out as a wedge for some reason that was never explained. my brother asked for ranch with his food which never came out until after we complained to the manager. the manager is extremely rude he did not care that we had the worst service. he never even apologized the only meal that was taken off of our menu was my moms and we still had to pay for my cold meal. the only thing the manager had said was what else can I get you now didn’t offer a free dessert didn’t offer to take anything else off of our bill literally the worst experience at any O’Charleys location.

Uneventful meal that began with a spinach artichoke dip. Tasted fine — generically the same at almost any chain restaurant it’s ordered. For dinner I had the wild west burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were pretty good, but were missing something to put them over the top; maybe a dip other than ketchup would have done it. The burger was missing the listed horseradish sauce. I didn’t notice until about half way through when I thought, «well this is kind of boring». I ended with a slice of Lemon Supreme Pie that came out frozen, and not just a little. The lemon custard was solid ice. The waiter acknowledged it was frozen before he even sat it down but didn’t offer any alternatives. The server did an okay job other than that. There’s probably a reason this place doesn’t have the wait time that the other restaurants on Stringtown do on a Friday night.

So free pie Wednesday! Who can beat that? I love this place. Came here with my friend for lunch. It had a nice crowd but not overly crowded. Sat down right away and was greeted very nicely. The rolls that came were warm and delicious I ordered the soup and salad and it was amazing. The potato soup was super cheesy and amazing! The salad was your typical garden salad with garlicky crotons. On Wednesdays if you order an entrée you get a free slice of pie. They had lemon, chocolate silk, southern pecan, salted caramel, country apple and peach. I got the peach and it tasted so fresh and warm. The pie crust was flaky but had the pinch of salt I love with my pastries. I of course had to get the vanilla ice cream for an up charge of $.99. It was worth it! Overall the experience was fantastic!

A slow Thursday night. I saw my server once after I got my food. No tea refill until I asked for check. Do not order the new baby green beans. They are over salted and inedible. Not good when you can’t get a drink refill.

Wow… taking hubby out for Father’s Day… what a horrible excuse for a meal… we got the prime rib special for 2. Hub ordered his med well and I ordered med rare… we got one nasty dried out piece of meat that was like shoe leather and the other piece was well done fat and gristle… NEVERAGAIN… this location always has problems!!!

Just walked out and we were both very pleased. Sure, it’s a chain, but the staff were all pleasant and accommodating. The wife’s salmon on a plank was wonderfully smoky and cooked to perfection–(done but moist and flaky). My order of Panko crusted shrimp and hand dipped cod were similarly well cooked and moist, and, most shocking of all, the french fries were real cut french fried potatoes, not the re-shaped potato mush that is shaped and frozen and served just about everywhere else. The manager was attentive and moved throughout the restaurant checking in on the diners and directing the staff. We called him over to tell him it was our first time at the restaurant but we were impressed with both the food and service. A winner for us.

Always great service, great food and reasonably priced in my humble opinion. It gets VERY here(as does everything else along the Stringtown Road strip) but they always get us in quickly and are consistent with quality food and quality service. I did cry for at least 3 days when they removed my favorite item from the menu(double bacon mac and cheese) but I’m sure I will pick myself up and dust myself off … nothing a bit of PIE can’t make better after all …

Had lunch today at this location. Ordered the Tuscan Chicken which was great. Server was Summer, she was great, there every time for tea refills. The problem was that no one was clearing tables. We watched the Manager the whole time. Spent the whole time either at the bar watching the football game or back at the end of the grill getting a drink. He walked past the area needing bussed several times, made no effort to get it cleaned and if they were that busy which they weren’t, roll up your sleeves and help out. The restaurant is a reflection on you and your staff.

Delicious and good prices. I had the sirloin medallions with a baked potato and broccoli for 12.99. The fried pickles were awesome! The steak was tender and lean. My husband said the fried catfish was good. Warm rolls. 4 beers, appetizer and 2 meals for under $ 50. The service was good too! Would definitely come back!

We had never been to an O’Charley’s and since we were staying at a hotel around the corner we thought this would be a nice choice for dinner. Boy were we wrong! The manager looked like he was always angry or possibly stalking someone. His head was always down as he walked besides when he would glance at someone with a very creepy glare. Our server was one of the most patronizing and fake servers I believe I’ve ever had. Then there’s the menu/food. We asked a question about the $ 9.99 meals and whether they come with a side item as well. She stated yes they are, well most of them. However, when we ordered, we were told that the side item would have to replace an item already in the menu description for that meal. So therefore, no, there is no side item available. No big deal, I went ahead and added on a caesar salad and a slice of pie. I ordered their famous chicken fingers and twisted potatoes(not realizing they were just potato chips with no seasoning at all). My girlfriend ordered a steak and their bacon smashed potatoes. About 20 minutes later our food came out, but I had never gotten my salad. So, the waitress said«I’ve asked them four times for your salad, I don’t know why they didn’t make it so I took it off the bill. Did you still want it?» Well duh, I wouldn’t order it if I didn’t. So, I went ahead and started eating my potato chips and chicken and eventual an incredibly sour tasting caesar salad came out. The chicken fingers were excellent, or I would have rated them a 1 star. My girlfriends steak was ridiculously spicy and she had to cut the top layer off in order to eat it. Now it was time to wait for our check and our slice of pie. 30 minutes it took to get the pie along with a comment from the waitress that she had someone«looking for a slice for us»… Do they get it from a grocery store and drive it back real quick??? Then the check came with the salad cost still on there and a promise of my card not getting charged for it… Yeah, not so much. So I went to speak to Mr. Creepy, the manager, and asked for it to be taken off. He was very quiet and not very apologetic but he did take that amount off. Meanwhile, as we were waiting for the check in the first place, I overheard our same waitress have to tell multiple other customers that the kitchen was completely out of a number of things. One table had to wait until everyone got their salad(apparently they actually made theirs in time) then one of the guests was told she would have to order something entirely different. And you know they were already cooking the other guests food. Final thoughts — We will NEVER return to O’Charley’s again. What a joke!

Pretty much another generic TGIF/Applebees/Shenangians/Roadhouse casual dining type of place. Pretty decent menu, nice bar area. They do have their«famous» rolls that come free and are pretty tasty. If you’re into prime rib, this is a good place to go to get it(not available every day).
