Boring and racist(I myself do not even subscribe to and nor do I believe in that thing called racism but according to society that is the way it is) from staff to tenants do these people not realize that one day they too shall also die :) no time for hate in my life sorry guys have nothing personal against any of my fellow earth creatures :) ps: They claim on their brochure that the pool very clean and sparkling well I beg to differ because I have not once ever seen it cleaned or at least attempted to be clean nor sparkle and the water always has your extremely itchy and dry from the moment you step into it so be aware you really do swim at your own risk as their sign says

Collier Park was a huge disappointment. At first the two managers there at the leasing office were very nice. Until I signed the lease, and then they were condescending and downright rude and unprofessional for the remainder of my stay. When I looked at the place I eventually rented, I walked it with one of the ladies of the leasing office. The place smelled like smoke and I asked if the carpets were going to be cleaned — she assured me the walls would be painted and the carpets would be cleaned prior to my moving in. When I moved in, it still smelled like smoke and the walls were not painted. I smelled smoke the entire duration of my stay. I never realized how bad the smoke smell was until I moved out of state, to a brand new place and I was hanging up my clean clothes that left CP and I unpacked them directly, and they REEKED of smoke. I have never smoked in my life and no one I ever invited over smoked either. It is absolutely disgusting. When it did not smell like smoke it sometimes smelled like trash/rotten food because there was something wrong with the garbage disposal, which I tried calling about a few times and got nowhere over. There was a washer/dryer hookup and when I brought in my brand new washer & dryer and had them professionally hooked up, I ran the water and because of faulty plumbing on their part, my dining room & kitchen flooded and it seeped into the neighbors’ apartment. Once they finally fixed that, they broke my laundry room door in the process and never offered to fix it. One maintenance man was like«oh well»… literally. It is also not the place to stay if you are in the military. I was on orders to go to Ft. Lewis in Washington state on active duty for 30 days, I let them know 30 days in advance and brought in my orders as soon as I received them. They acted like it was this huge hassle to accommodate my situation even though, by law, they are required to. The law states that if you are activated you do not have to pay rent or you can break your lease without penalty. They still made me pay, but allowed me(after much complaining) to pay once I returned from Ft. Lewis. I got home at midnight after being gone for 30 days to an eviction notice on the door. Frustrated, I went in to speak with them as soon as they opened the next morning. One of the workers said«well we needed a paper trail»… which doesn’t make ANY sense if they had a copy of my orders, then why would they need a paper trail with an eviction notice… what this says to me is that they forgot that I was going on active duty and attempted to evict me, which is perhaps the most unprofessional thing someone can do to a uniformed service member in that situation. It would be helpful of Crawford Hoying did an inservice with all their personnel and brushed them up on the laws and proper protocol for accommodating military personnel. Had my commander not been activated for four months himself, I would have pursued this matter further. The people who work there are absolute busybodies and make it very obvious even when you are signing the lease that they watch you in the pool and want you to snitch on others who have loud music or beverages by the pool. They constantly drive around looking for people to screw up. Of all the places I’ve lived, I would have to say Collier Park was definitely the worst. And that is saying a lot, since I lived in the ghetto on Broad & Parsons for a year. I am still so grossed out by my smoke smelling belongings, much of my stuff I had to throw away because of the smell. Unbelievable.
