Our mission is to provide all students with the proper tools, technical training, knowledge, and exposure to create a well-​rounded, high quality dance education.

Our instructors have studied dance extensively and performed professionally internationally. We strongly believe in creating a comforting environment for all of our students to connect with those in their community, express themselves artistically, and grow by gaining confidence and self-​esteem. Dance education and performance experience benefit all students, teaching them life-​skills such as, responsibility, dedication, time-​management, and discipline. These skills help students prepare for positive futures whether they wish to dance through recreation or to obtain a career within the arts. Kercheval Dance is Located in The Village of Grosse Pointe Michigan. We offer dance classes for ages 2 to Adult. We serve Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Woods, St Clair Shores, and much of metro Detroit.

Established in 2014.

Tracy and Adam G.

Business Owner

Tracy Halso Gap, Artistic Director and teacher, grew up in Grosse Pointe and truly admires the community’s focus on families and well-​rounded education for children. After graduating from Liggett, she attended a dance convention in Orlando where she met Adam Gap, a Grand Rapids native. With a mutual love for children, dance, and education, the two began planning their dream dance school. Their enthusiasm and passion are contagious, and create an instant bond with their students. Pedagogy, Anatomy, and Kinesiology courses, as well as their teaching experiences across the country, gave them the opportunity to analyze the mental and physical capabilities of students ages 2 and up. They have applied this knowledge to create a structured curriculum and fun approach to the study of dance. Tracy and Adam wish to share the positive influence of dance within their community, and look forward to all that Kercheval Dance has to offer in Grosse Pointe!
