If you are looking for a great neighborhood bar In the Pointes this is the place. Great food, great service and live music almost every night. I have tried most of the items on the menu and never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend the cheeseburger. A lots of tv screens so you can watch your favorite sport game.

Nice place and good food… staff is very Friendly but the only reason I’m giving them 3stars is because their Caesar dressing is horrible… Should be called a lemon Vinaigrette… steer clear of the Caesar salad…

My husband and I stopped here for a quick dinner and drink. We sat at a nice table by the window. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good. I ordered the chicken skewer with rice and veggies. This was a very tasty dish. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My hubby ordered the bacon burger. He said it was really good and the bacon was crispy. The service we received was great! We will definitely go back.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while since moving to the East Side, and I finally took matters into my own hands on one slightly hungover Saturday. First of all, the place is really easy to find. Sitting on a corner of a sidestreet right off Mack, it’s hard to miss. There is parking on the side(only a few spots) and then parking behind the building as well I believe. You can enter in front or through the side. The building is an adequate size and presents numerous seating options: tables, large booths, booths for smaller parties, bar stools, etc. It’s like an upscale sports bar with an all-black décor and numerous TV’s all around the establishment. The menu is on the pricier side, at least to a degree. Most entrees cost at least $ 12 and then go up, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. For example, I ordered the honey bourbon ribs for $ 15 and it came with a decent-sized bowl of cole slaw and many onion rings. I could have added a soup or salad for an extra $ 1.99. The food was pretty good and was the perfect amount to feel full but not to the point of being sick. The ribs were a very generous portion in my estimation. Craft beers like Bell’s Two Hearted cost about $ 6, which I think is pretty steep. Luckily, we showed up 15 minutes before Happy Hour ended at 6 p.m. and it was $ 1 off all beers. I like that they have Happy Hour on weekends, and it makes sense because the place was pretty empty when we first walked in. But by the time we left around 7 p.m., it had gotten pretty busy. The service is ho hum. The waitress was nice but didn’t come by very often, even when it wasn’t busy. My SO got a veggie wrap that came with tzatziki sauce, and it took the waitress another 10 – 15 minutes to bring her extra sauce in a cup. So, service could be better. All in all, this place is worth a look. The menu is quite extensive, to the point where you will read and read and re-read to get a grasp on what you’re in the mood to eat. The amount of drinks available round out the experience. I will be back I’m sure.

Went there last Friday, first time for me. Service was excellent and the food was very good and came very quick. Oddly enough, it could have taken just a bit longer to come to the table.

Best sort of corner bar! My husband and I go every time we have friends or family in town so we can walk from our home, eat & drink then walk back home! Huge menu – definitely recommend the saganaki, chicken tenders salad, fajitas and anything with fish in it – super fresh! Our friends always enjoy their food when they visit! We love it here!

First time to Telly’s, and it was a little underwhelming. The prices were reasonable but my guest and I were both sick after dinner. I would maybe try it again, but pass on the spinach artichoke dip.

Foods decent enough. The location and atmosphere are ok but the price and service left something to be desired. 10 bucks for a tex mex burger, $ 10 for an app sized chicken quesadilla and $ 12 for some chicken nachos? Food was ok but not worth those prices imho. Service wasn’t the best. Got sat in bartenders section and even though the place wasn’t very busy at all, she took awhile to refresh drinks(way too long) and check on us. She was eating soup behind the bar so I guess that was top priority at the time. I’d probably give it another go but not sure it’ll be any time soon.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Telly’s. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant and the dinner portions where huge! Local and convent. Will dine here again! And the owner was simply charming.

A gem of Grosse Pointe Woods, I’d say. I’ve been coming here for awhile with my friends for martini Wednesday’s, as well as dinners with my boyfriend. The chicken gyro is so delicious, and you can’t go wrong with the spinach artichoke dip or saganaki! And the owner Jimmy is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever come across!

It’s like Cheers(you can find it on YouTube) with food. If you come a few times the owners will learn your name and always greet you afterwards. Hangout for lots of old friends and 20 something’s.Try the clam chowder on Fridays, delicious. Can’t go wrong with the Cobb salad, Quesadillas, wet burrito, or the Burgers. Oberon, Labatts, Bud Light and Dirty Blonde on tap. Plenty of whiskey, scotch and flavored vodka. Always a martini special and don’t forget to ask for the Roberetto or Jimmy’s chicken.

Food(reuben and chicken quesadilla) were above average. Service was slow but friendly. What kept the rating at 3 stars was the $ 4 Coors Lights and $ 6 Bells

Meh. I was hoping this would be a good option as my neighborhood bar, as I only live a block away. The food is decent but the staff is a bit preoccupied and unfriendly. Maybe I came on an off time?

I had the pot roast, the bartender suggested it. It was outstanding. It was very savory and tender and good sized portions. I will go back just for the pot roast but I would like to try the other menu items eventually. See you at Tellys place.

If you are looking for a great spot to watch a game, eat a fantastic meal and enjoy an updated sports bar this is your place. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and fun. I will be going back to this sports bar for their pot roast dinner, chicken wings and amazing burgers.

This place has always been a great go– to for me. Great apps, amazing olive burger, wonderfully broad menu selection, and priced right in the middle of the road. A littttllleeee pricey for what is offered, but very good portions and extremely tasty. Keep it up, Ty. I love this place! Edit: Robert behind the bar is extremely accommodating and helpful. He always has good recommendations and doesn’t hesitate to say hey when you stop in. Again, this place is great!

My go to spot for a quick meal and drinks. All of the food is pretty good, pretty typical bar food and the drinks are good too. The staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel like family and bring you the fastest service. Love Telly’s!

I think I just made the wrong choice the first time I came here but I’ll be giving it another chance. Good place to grab a drink with friends. It’s packed on Fridays and Saturdays! Just don’t order the quesadilla or nachos. Both are meh.

Food. Meh. Real issue was $ 4 Miller Light bottles. I’m used to paying that kind of coin for beer sitting at fine a restaurant overlooking an ocean. Not some dark place staring at a wall.

It’s a decent, nicer place to get a drink and watch a game, or converse with friends. It’s not Eduardo’s, Capital Grill, or J Alexanders, but it is an upper scale sports/bar and a decent restaurant. The food is hit or miss. They do some sandwiches and salads well, but fall flat on a lot of their dishes. Their nachos are ridiculously dry(lacking toppings and layers… TONS of chips, small pile of toppings and they’re not layered, huge pet peeve… No one wants to sit there and eat two layers of dry chips). Burger and French Dip is very mediocre. Their ice tea is awful as well. It has a bad after-taste, another huge pet peeve.
