About 10 years ago, Tutor Doctor had a simple idea and a desire to make a difference. Here is what the Tutor Doctor difference offers:

*We offer flexibility in the tutor’s schedule so that tutoring time slots fit into a family’s busy schedule.

* Struggling students can get one on one attention instead of being limited to the «one-​to-​many» teaching models used by most extra-​curricular learning centers.

* Our tutors develop personalized programs by working with the child’s existing homework and school curriculum instead of loading more standard textbook work on an already overwhelmed child.

History

Established in 2012.

Tutor Doctor is an international company started over ten years ago in Canada. Now with locations all over the world and nearly 200 locations, Tutor Doctor is the leading supplier of supplemental education assistance in North America. My office serves the communities of Metro Detroit.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael R.

Business Owner

Michael is a current resident of Grosse Pointe Park and former resident of St Clair Shores and has a passion to make a difference in the lives of families throughout Metro Detroit.

Within Michael’s extended family are current and former teachers, all focused on helping students to succeed in life. Michael has that same passion for education and strongly believes his company can help students improve their study skills, grades and give them the self-​confidence they need for the challenges ahead.

Michael is active in the community attending school events and participating in volunteer projects and active for many years with a local animal adoptions group. He has also served the needs of our senior citizens and the homeless through various efforts over the years.

Michael moved to the Detroit area in 2005. He has a degree in Production and Operations Management from Ohio State University and is confident his company will be successful and he looks forward to helping a lot of people.
