Excellent food. Came in late on a Saturday and they treated us like royalty. Chicken fried steak was fork tender. Bread and pie were homemade. Great service. Will be nack.

An eclectic period café fraught with old world country flair and a touch of elegance. The signature bread is delicious and wholesome at the corner of Montgomery and Main in Griswold Iowa. The menu offers delicious American classics. The desserts are homemade and the Carrot Cake is out of this world. Enjoy a warm cup of cinnamon swirl coffee and soak in the calming serene atmosphere. We will be back!

If you’re going down 92, hopefully not too fast, you must stop at this local gem. Our Daily Bread is truly a delight. The chicken parmesan with angel hair was delicious. And the french toast looked great… it should be tried. Let’s not forget they bake their own bread.
