History

Established in 2003.

Heartland Heating & Cooling began servicing the Des Moines area in 2003. Heartland was founded by Mike Nelson and Dave Volante, whom both spent most of their lives working in the construction industry. Both were dedicated in providing outstanding customer service and a higher quality of workmanship. Which helped their business grow. Within the first 6 months their number of employees more than doubled which seemed to be the trend for those first years of business. Mike and Dave had to continued to grow to meet the needs of their customers and are currently 47 employees strong. In December of 2014 Mike retired and Dave took over as sole owner of Heartland Heating & Cooling. The company continues to thrive. Specializing in new construction installation, replacements, repair and maintenance of HVAC systems. HHC works hard every day to earn your trust and provide the maximum comfort in your home.
