Had my generator serviced by them less than 2 months ago. When a major storm was coming in and I checked the generator, it would not start, and this was the first use after repair. Called Terpstra’s immediately and was told nothing could be done until AFTER the storm had passed. It was not snowing when I called, by the way. Then the call for them to come get the generator got pushed back 2 more days, with the tech indicating he would be here at 9:30 in the morning. We are over an hour past that time now, so a call was placed to the service department. The woman answering phones remembered my call for assistance, but advised to give the tech another 2 ½ hours and then call back if needed. Sorry, Terpstra’s, you’re giving yourself a black eye on this one. By the way, the tech arrived about 1:30 pm with no prior call and no apologies. Now we’ll see what and if they charge to repair what was supposedly in good running order already!
