History
Established in 1983.
Established by Wayne and Judy Govert in 1983, we have since grown our business from a 2,500 square foot shop to a full service auto body, mechanical and towing facility with over 40,000 square feet of usable space. The latest expansion occurred in September of 2006 with the addition of a new state of the art auto body facility in Merrillville at the intersection of Route 30 and Whitcomb.

Business Owner
Wayne and Judy started Govert Auto in 1983. The are blessed with 2 daughters that both work at Govert’s in Griffith. A son who works at Govert’s in Merrillville. They believe in only quality, safe and correct repairs, nothing less.
